Very clean, comfortable place to stay
Very convenient for our family visits. Comfortable room.
Could only get wifi when standing by door. Could do with a stronger connection.
No fuss, friendly check in. Clean room and shower. Great location for site seeing - Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole, etc. Good food at local pub (Crown).
Very clean nice sized bed/bathroom with ample toiletries. Selection of drinks with biscuits. Wall Mounted TV to watch in bed.
Bed creaked and groaned.
Everything was new, fresh and clean. The area is lovely. Pubs and shop within easy walking distance. Everything worked. Quiet.
No breakfast available. Grumpy proprietor (though maybe he had toothache?)
Lovely accommodation. Very friendly, helpful owner. Love the little self-contained units. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Axbridge is a very sweet little town with some good pubs and a fabulous tea shop where we went for breakfast. Would love to stay here again.
Cleanliness of room and the whole Motel. Very helpful and courteous
The room was nice, simple but nice
It was quite basic unit in the back yard of the house. The heater was VERY noisy so could not leave on for long, did not see owner when we left and we did not get asked for feedback so did not mention it.
Room very well thought out with all the added little extras that make the stay enjoyable. Very clean and spacious accommodation with excellent bathroom facilities.
The room smelt musky
Handy for the town and on bus route to wells and weston
No breakfast available.
The room was well sized, well equiped and very clean
Close to all major tourist spots Motel type accommodation Impossible to argue with price
At this price nothing to dislike although shower could be improved
Very large room, lovely bathroom, just what you need for a short break. As it's a motel, you come and go as you please!
Only bad thing, was the shower! Could not get the right temperature and ended up with scolded skin!!!
Our stay in the reservoir motel met all expectations
Pillows were too puffy and not enough neck support and water butts in rainy weather proved testing.
I love how cute the room was and the comfort touches such as a dressing table! Everything you need! Would recommend to anyone :) lovely staff and lovely area. The bed was the best bit! And super comfy bedding! Loved the country feel the whole experience was :)
No complaints really!
Very quite place and clean.
Internet very poor signal.
I don't have a bad word to say... the rooms were clean, homely, spacious and had everything you needed along with tea and coffee facilities. I would stay here again definitely.
We booked to stay here as we planned to go an explore Cheddar. It was a nice day so we decided to walk the 2.5 miles into Cheddar however on a our way home we tried to get hold of a local taxi company...of which we were told there were none... in fact we were told there was 1 taxi run by a local man for the whole area so we had to walk the 2.5 back at midnight. We didn't mind too much but this may put some people off.
Location Price Comfort Friendly Staff and Atmosphere
No meals but excellent pub a few minutes walk away
What a great place to stay, everything was spot on. The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was spotless. I can't speak highly enough of this motel. You have to try it.
Clean, comfortable convenient and welcoming.
Wifi code provided didn't work.
Location was perfect in a beautiful location with friendly welcome and great local pub in walking distance. Rooms were very clean well furnished and Great to have full size mugs in the room with decent tea and coffee. Only evening noises were the wildlife and local sheep a really relaxing tranquil setting away from tourist trappings
We liked everything however Wifi would be nice as the area has very poor mobile reception but it would not stop is coming back
Axbridge is a very nice village
Had to order breakfast the day before, we found this out on the day we left Could not "view" the reservoir!
