There we're Mold all over the room walls, not good what so ever
Me and my friends planned a night out and decided the rest over lodge was closest to were we was, on my arrival we waited at reception for about 25 minuites whilse the receptionist just stared at the computer, once we got to the room it was discusting! Wallpaper falling of the walls, stains, dead flies on the side, ripped mattresses, and then when going to the toilet a man shouted either be quite or get out when all I was doing was talking on the phone! Then when leaving me and my friends were laughing and the receptionist tutted an shook her head! All in all the people were rude!! And I wouldn't even pay half of what I payed for that room!
Nothing apart from checking out
The flies I my room, the warm water coming out of the cold tap. This was run for one minute and STILL rant lule warm - this is a serious legionella risk and is going to be reported to EHS. The unknown matter that was spread across the room door, the toilet that had dust in the vents and the scummy water in the overflow. We checked out after one night in the room even though we had it booked for two nights
The mattress was of very poor quality, it was impossible to sleep with springs sticking out everywhere, needless to say we had a very bad night.
Not one thing
Room smelled of urine taps wouldn't turn off, bed had springs coming through, carpet hadn't been hoovered for a long time...just grubby and generally not nice...
Very good value if you just want somewhere to lay your head. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception / breakfast area very clean, lots of parking spaces. Very close to town centre.Cancellation charge is generous for a budget hotel.
The double room is very basic with no clothes hanging space, chair or desk Minor niggles. The room door lock was faulty (a maintenance man tried to fix it but could not, through no fault of his own) the shelf under the TV was falling off, a noisey trickling tap would not turn off. The TV kept losing a signal. .
Good prices and atmosphere
The staff are always very friendly, I've stayed here several times in the last 3 to 4 months
Cheap Friendly staff Clean room Quiet Good nights sleep
Bathrooms weren't nice.
Cheap hotel for a few hours sleep , clean and tidy friendly staff.
The staff was so nice!
The tombs outside the window
Room amenities excellent
No womens loo
Good location, good value for money
Staff banged on my door 15 mins before checkout time to remind me of checkout time which I found very rude, of which I was fully aware of, room stunk very heavily of smoke in a non smoking venue, very prominent when you don't smoke, wifi wouldn't allow me to log in thankfully it was free an I didn't need to pay as I would have been very very annoyed if I had done so, window had a chain on but with no catch, to connect it too, it had a lock but any adult could still have been able to open the locked window, not ideal when the heating is on full for what seemed all night, or when you have the safety of a four year old to think about we all knew what supposedly happened in Portugal, overall not happy would not recommend or re use
Ideal for a work stopover
Nothing, I have stayed before and know what to expect.
Friendly staff and nice service. Good money. Breakfast.
everything we needed in the rooms perfect for us as we only used the room to sleep and breakfast breakfast was great for the price the receptionist printed us a map of directions to our venue. so grateful.
other guests rinsing pots without washing made me doubt the cleanliness of the pots and there wasnt a plug.
No where to hang your clothes
Everything. Shared toilets are never clean. Share showers aren't warm. They cleaned the room daily, but went through our belongings. The room had crumbs on the floor and drug bags on the ground. Outlets didn't work, television didn't work, wifi didnt work. Thankfully they were able to assist us with calling taxis, until the morning we checked out they refused to. Wasn't even worth the £100. I would have rather stayed outside for the duration of my trip.
Location only good thing and good parking. Good selection for breakfast. Staff helpful and polite
Room lacked any furniture for clothes so used bag and floor. Shared showers in front of open reception area so parading in public view. Standard of WC poor. Bed too hard.
staff were friendly..breakfast was offered which i didnt think it was had a nice selection of this
couldnt quite figure out how to keep the shower turned on because when i let go off the knob it turned off but other than that everythink was good
nothing the place was terrible and the staff were very unpleasant
the place wasn't clean at all and was very noisy
Uncomfortable bed No wardrobe
location proximity to bus service decor and cleanliness
no towel rail no clothes hanging facility no tv remote I suspect you were fully booked and my room was not completed the toilets very cramped
Staff friendly and Helpful Place Clean and Tidy Bed Clean and comfy Breakfast-plenty to fill up on considering price paid. Place quiet. Extremely Good Value for price paid.
Shared toilet-but it was clean and what I expected.
