Cheapest rates in London and convenient location to main underground line.
Good value for money, the staff was helpful, the common areas had wifi and the interior design was really cool. Especially liked the TV room with nice bean bag chairs :)
The room was very small, but it wasn't a problem. The hostel has an elevator but it wasn't working. The showers only gave water 20 seconds and then you had to push the button again.
location is surprisingly good, easy 20 min work to Tower Bridge Really well priced, on the basis 'you get what you pay for', this was good.
Had to pay to hire a towel, that was filthy when I got it. Shower only OK, very small
Good location and easy public transport links, storage lockers.
Lots of traffic noise from the main road.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
The room was very dirty and full of hair. I have contacted a skin disease.
Great place to stay, near a tube station, good bars and clubs around. Cheap and quiet, and reasonable clean. I would stay there again.
It's the small things: no shelf to put your stuff on in the shower, the head-bars of the bed blocking the sockets in the upper bunkbed.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Lot of comings and goings late at night which kept me awake for ages. Lift took long time to arrive.
Close to 24hr public transport. Free WiFi and plenty of room in public spaces. Friendly and helpful staff with 24hr reception
Small rooms and squeaky beds. Push button showers
- the staff working there is really friendly, they'll ask every question, can print map if you need or help with getting everywhere in the city - localization is quite good - 10 mins by walk to the underground, many buses in front of the hostel (passing by piccadilly or trafalgar square) - 20 mins walking to the Westminster
bathroom stinks rooms are tiny, there is completely no place to put your things (any locker, shelf, nothing inside room) there is hardly place to move (8 people on 10 sqm) bathrooms are not cleaned by the staff (I saw two days people in staff shirts moving around and there did nothing with horrible mess inside bathrooms, they didn't even cleaned the floor which was flooded) - there is no kitchen where you can make sth by yourself, even a tea or coffee, you cannot take any forks or knifes with you to the room to make even a sandwich
Staff was wery helpfull. Helped us a lott and made us feel welcome.
Bed was not good, room little small.
Only spent a week with the sole purpose of sightseeing, and private room with twin beds (to my content, not to my husbands ;-D) was perfect for having somewhere to stay the night. As we left first thing and came back very late. We didn't use the facilities much but from the looks of it, were very nice. We could not fault anything other than the elevator broke on our second day, and spent the rest of the week walking up six flights of stairs. As much as I apretiate the calories burnt from all of the sweet stuff I ate, I didnt like the extra pain in my feet after walking all day. But other than that very nice and clean and welcoming.
Broken elevator. But these things happen right? X
the smell of gas coming from showers water.the smell that comes out of sink in dorm and the fact that the staff kept my key deposit because of an honest mistake.elevators not working and I also reported a gas leak which took them a day or so too realise.
The toilet and the shower wasn't crowded during our stay, the room was spacious enough, the check-out process was fast and easy. The service met all my expectations.
Upon arrival the receptionist made us wait telling that he was closing the shift. I also work as a receptionist in Novotel, so I happen to know that a cashier closure process doesn't take that much time. I really don't appreciate this kind of attitude.
Staff was OK ,lounge is great .The thing is that if the lounge area is so extend everyone hide in different corner and plug them self in Wi-Fi not much social life.Place is quite safe and clean.Close to supermarkets and restaurants.
Broken lift, no kitchen for customers, no microwave
cheap; good location: underground station nearby, bus stop in front of the building; warm rooms and shower; clean bathrooms and toilets; good atmosphere in lobby; lockers
elevator broke down quite often; disappointing deep-frozen fish and chips; no early check-in; wifi disconnected often
Staff was very helpful and polite, rooms are small but nice, overall great quality for the price!
Lobby gets a bit crowded at times
day staff is ok
not clean, bed sheets dirty.
There is an amazing girl who works on reception. She is a huge asset and needs a serious commendation. I hope she gets it :)
Staff very helpful and proactive. Good value. The TV room is awsome! The building itself is cool. A range of hosts from different nationalities.
The showers: there are showers integrated with toilets, and these ones are dirty and filthy. You can stalk through other floors to find better showers, though. Wi-fi: there is not access to wi-fi in the rooms.
Good price and location
They charge you £10 as a deposit for the key room. IF you need a towel you have to pay £2 and give £3 as a deposit again. Wifi only works in the lobby and TV room which is annoying.
The front end staff where just rude. We where rushing to wembley and could only check in after 3pm which is a joke really. no negotiagion atall and the person at the desk just laughed. Half hour late checking out because we went for a coffee and didnt hand are card in in time and didnt get are deposit back. disgrace.
Near to centre. Can go by bus.
Poor wifi. Poor room. The receptionist not friendly.
the price good food
bunk beds a verysmall room shared bathroom lift not working
