The Blue Bell is a charming country hotel with good food and lovely rooms, as well as traditional charm and contemporary interiors.
Score from 84 reviews Good
The staff were great, and the location is simply superb. The rooms we stayed in both had sea views.
We had the four post room and it was great. Very throne looking with large gold curtains. Great size n came with an extra single bed which I didn't expect.
The bathroom wasn't very nice but it wasn't bad either.
Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The hotel restaurant is perfect. It is quiet, with appropriate background music, and the service is excellent. The menu is impressive, and food is cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef.
The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. No staff at desk to deal with any problems during the night.
Everything - the staff we met were all really helpful The hotel was lovely and clean we couldn't have asked for anything better. I will be going again
Nothing everything was lovely
Being put in room above karaoke no sound proofing ,tv in bad position, squeeky bed, bad singing till midnight no alternative room choice
Nice and clean and staff very friendly also location was great too. Would stay again but for longer next time as we only stay for 1 night.
Really close to the beach. large clean room. Bar meals very nice. All staff were very nice Everything in the room you could want.
Nothing for the children at night entertainment on way too late. Pull cord in bathroom way too high so child could not go to bathroom in night without getting you up as she could not reach.
Arrived early but the room was ready and the receptionist was happly to let us in. Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a good location to walk into the town, but not too close to be noisey. The free hotel car park was a big bonus.
A little pricey for the room size and standard. The room decor is a bit dated. Don't remember the last time I had a black plastic toilet seat in a hotel en suite!
The location was brilliant lovely rooms excellent food too
Was a bit noisy were our room was at the top of the stairs with a young child with me could hear people coming and going at all hours although they would have moved us f I had asked
The location was perfect for us, at the quiet end, the staff were all lovely and very helpful
The food could do with a little improvement would think twice about eating there which was a shame as everything else was perfect
Very clean and comfortable room. We only stayed one night and would definitely stay again in the future. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean with tea/coffee making facilites and we had a sea view
Not enough parking spaces. We were not offered a street parking permit which was available to guests until the manager intervened. The fact that there was no night porter and on 2 of the 3 nights we were there, someone locked themselves out and banged very loudly and for a very long time on the side door to gain access in the early hours waking us up.
The hotel and staff were very nice and the food was excellent. Nice room. Good vicinity for visiting places.
food was excellent
no wi fi connection in the bedroom room - very disappointing as your advert says it is in every room
The Revelstoke hotel looked very welcoming from the outside and certainly disappoint on the inside. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely and spotlessly clean.Everything we needed was at hand,tea/coffee making facilitiesin the room and of course the restaurant and bar meals. Being able to park the car just outside was a bonus.
We stayed at the hotel when there was a bit of a heatwave and very warm in the bedroom therefore either air conditioning or even a fan would have been welcome.
Friendly staff location. ...food and entertainment excellent.
No lifts...The bed was not comfy.the quilt and pillows were very old and worn. Previous stay was defiantly a better room.Really could do with a revamp..
Not a lot the room was to small butt it was clean.
Not confertabule and out of date rooms.
Friendly service and the best meat pies at the bar and a wonderful carvery
Arrived late and stayed only for one night. But our room was very spacious, comfortable, well equipped, quiet and clean. A pleasant, if very short stay!
The room was clean comfortable and well appointed, we did not use the catering facilities due to commitments elsewhere however we had a very enjoyable stay would recommend it to anyone in fact i have already passed details to my golf playing friends and may consider this hotel for a stopover.
Its not a complaint but i did find the extractor fan noise uncomfortable but then i am a very light sleeper and it was not a problem.
This is my second visit to the Revelstoke and everything was just as perfect as before. We were able to park in front of the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful the food in the restaurant was just as good as last time. We were in a double room which was spotless as was the bathroom.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.
Everything about out visit
The extra charge for a room with a four pôster bed was worth it to gain the extra space. Breakfast was good although not included in the room rate.
The rooms are right above the pub. Bad enough on a quiet night but when there is a very bad pub singer on the stage its impossible to sleep before the pub closes. If you have any heavy luggage you are going to have to struggle to get it upstairs and along the corridors as there was no assistance from any staff. Its located on the main road into town, if you are a light sleeper you will be awake early. The hotel car park is big enough for approx 6 cars. You need to arrive really early if you hope to park at the hotel. Finding street parking close to the hotel depends on your luck.
The staff where very friendly
We was on top floor and one guest was disabled and there was no heating on
