If you want a quiet stay, look somewhere else.
If you want a quiet stay, look somewhere else. If you like evening events with good food, maybe this is for you. The location is quite pleasant, with a bus stop to The Trafford Centre and Manchester immediately outside, but check which 100 bus service it is.
Great location, three miles from the M6. Lovely local walks with maps available. Very friendly staff, lovely large and comfortable bed.
Had a meal in the restaurant very tasty and large portions. Very nice breakfast.
The hotel seemed to be a focal point of the village, during the day plenty of families enjoying the weather, play area for the children, walks and the hotels facilities.
Nice inn/hotel handy for Manchester, airport and Warrington. Very large, well-appointed and comfortable room. Friendly and very helpful staff who took the trouble to call me about time restaurant and inn would close when I was delayed by traffic in getting there. Good food and beer in the restaurant.
The hotel was comfortable after a room change. Breakfast was well presented and just right.
One afternoon surprised to find a steam tractor in the car park. Seems local owners visit the bar when their engine is in steam. Had an interesting chat with the driver and fireman.
The hotel is an absolute winner. The staff are superb The rooms spacious and clean and the food is excellent. I will be returning here for certain and bringing the wife also. I can recommend this hotel to anybody that wants to have a great relaxing time in a superb location.
Had a late check-in, but no issues as a gentleman was on hand to help and even got last orders in at the bar. I also had a call from the hotel as they recognised my tardiness, and they checked if I needed a table in the restaurant. Good customer service. 👍
