Comfortable rooms staff very obliging, hotel convenient for warrington/manchester/the traffords/chesire I.E. tatton park, station on the doorstep, however how often the train stops we did not find out as we drove everywhere, there is no bus route that is the only limitation, taxis however are not expensive in the area.

Lovely room, although small compared to other hotels in a similar price range. Food excellent and staff very attentive - when we could find them! Found this hotel rather cold and clinical, not cosy or warm/welcoming, it felt very 'business' like, more for the corporate exec. The restaurant was virtually empty, only three of us in there for an evening meal. Although the food was of an excellent quality and good value for money. Breakfast was ok, was asked what we wanted rather than offered a select, that was after we had to ask at reception for the waiting staff. Complimentary morning paper never appeared either. Overall this was a reasonable stay, we paid half the normal price - I would not have paid the full price of £130 for the service we received.

Staff are nice and helpfull ok for the rate paid but that's about it, nothing special. Dated, not a country hotel more a hotel in the country. Bed poor, rooms very dated and took an age to warm up.

We enjoyed our stay at The Rhinewood. The staff were excellent both in the hotel, bar and restaurant and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very well cooked but we were not keen on the sausage used and think they could be changed, The room was looking somewhat worn with the furniture showing lots of signs of wear and tear. It was difficult to open the wardrobe as it had no handles and no key with which to open it. Also, there were no spare pillows and we only had one each on the bed so had to request extra which it is fair to say appeared very quickly thanks to your manager. We hope this information is of use to you.

We liked the quiet country location although near the motorway it was peaceful Unlike Holiday Inn experiences in the past. We loved the modern decor and the friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel at home. Thank you all

Good location for our business, local facilities and price Being the wrong side of the ship canal toll bridge may be a problem as we sometimes have to work during the night when the bridge is closed.

I came for a wedding taking place at the hotel on the 5th November2011. I travelled up from London and stayed on the Friday and Saturday nights. When I arrived in my room 24, it was freezing, the heating was not switched on to warm the room and I had to climb under the duvet until the room warmed up. My feet were dead with cold. The Wedding was wonderful, the staff very helpful and courtious. The food was delicious especially the bacon and sausage and the wedding meal and buffet, was gogeous. However, I arrived at breakfast at 9.15am,on the Sunday, breakfast finished at 9.30, on the Sunday morning, there was not much cooked breakfast left at the self service. I asked if more cooked breakfast was on the way. I was abruptly told by an older waitress that, that was it, as breakfast ended at 9.30, I told her that it was only 9.15. The hotel was full with guests from the wedding and many appeared at just at 9.30 ish for breakfast, to be told the same in a rude manner by the said waitress. This upset the bride and groom who spoke to the manager. More cooked brekfast was served after a short period, however I felt that the waitress was rude and abrupt. The bride told me that this was the only thing that had spoilt her wedding, otherwise a wonderful time was had by all. I enjoyed my stay and would use the hotel again. I hope this helps with your staff trainning. Warm regards Mrs Catherine Payne-Gray

Pleasant stay in convenient location. Essentially this is a business man's style of hotel but non the less it offered a good deal in clean well equipped rooms and the staff were very helpful and well trained to offer good service. We ate in the restaurant; had well cooked and good value meals as would be expected at this style of hotel.
