Just 10 minutes’ drive from Cardigan and 5 minutes from the beach, Rhyd Guest House offers en suite rooms and countryside views. Built in the 1800s, Rhyd Guest House retains many period features but also has modern facilities, including free Wi-Fi. There are 2 acres of gardens, a bar, and a log fire in the guest lounge. Free parking is also available. All rooms have classic decor and views of the surrounding countryside. Some rooms have four-poster beds or a whirlpool bath. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts just 6.6 miles away at St Dogmaels and the area boasts walks for all abilities. The Teifi Valley Steam Railway and the Mwldan Theatre are both within 12 miles of the Rhyd Guest House Hotel and Restaurant. We stayed for two nights with our baby girl and immediately had a warm and friendly welcome. The relaxed atmosphere and great food made for a pleasant break away. We would stay at the Rhyd again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a superior retreat.Its Ideally located near the coastline and local attractions.

our stay at the hotel was excellent. it was clean and well kept. the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was out of this world, all home cooked with local produce.

Excellent food. Great menu. Well decorated and comfortable room. Great hosts. This is a familly run hotel with beautifully behaved children who help out with service from time to time and are more efficient than many professionals. The chef creates excellent dishes and there is plenty of choice on the menu.

Food was excellent. Not only was it a b&b but it's dining attracted area residents to enjoy the food. This is a young family's home and evidence of toys were about the place. The children, however, were delightful and assisted ( very ably) with serving our breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. I would encourage them to change their decorating scheme. Artwork was random and without a theme or style.

Excellent meal in the evening, friendly staff and once I was in the correct room found the bed very comfortable. Decor in the restaraunt area is tired and in need of repair and maintenance.

Fantastic location, perfect for what we wanted. Beautiful house, attentive owners, loved that the kids helped out! The food was amazing, so glad we ate in the restaurant in the evening. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone. Stayed in the bridal suite, but to call it a suite is a bit misleading, as it is just a large room, although very comfortable. Could really do with a shower over the bath, as although the jacuzzi bath was great, it did take ages to fill and a shower would be handy if you need something quick.

I liked the welcome I received, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The owner/chef was happy to prepare a sandwich for me after 10pm when I arrived there after working late. I would definitely be happy to stay there again, perhaps on holiday next time.

We were made to feel extremely welcome from the minute we entered the building a real 'family atmosphere'. We booked an evening meal in the resturant and words cannot express how fantastic the food was we have never tasted anything like it. Breakfast was just as delicious served to perfection. The hotel is an old manor house with many origional features. Or room was large, bright and spotlessly clean. The only off putting thing was the large cracks in the bedroom walls it was such a shame as although we knew it was an old building those cracs took the magic out of the place. Please DO NOT be put off by this it ws spotless and I know it's work in progress at the hotel

The owners are great hosts, not pushy, polite, helpful and professional. The food was excellent, will definitely go back and would recommend this hotel and restaurant to any one going around this area Just a bit remote for us, needed the car to go out for a drink
