Lovely rustic farmhouse. We had a memorable stay.
Internet was a bit slow. Not sure if it was a persistent problem or we were just unlucky. But the inconvenience is minor. We'd glad return.
Lovely warm welcome with a cup of tea in the conservatory. Hosts were very helpful with local knowledge. Yummy breakfast.
Warm welcome, thoughtful details and a good breakfast.
Bed was a bit too soft for our liking.
The owner was very friendly. Lovely facilities with a great breakfast. A little gem of a b&b in Wales which is worth searching for.
Friendly reception Quiet location Good quality rooms
Very helpful and friendly hostess. Yummy breakfast. Comfortable bed, clean room in tranquil surroundings. A lovely few days' stay.
Remembering to duck under the diagonal beams!
Clean, comfortable bedding especially the feather duvet
Happy with everything
Quiet, peaceful location on working farm. We were made extremely welcome and felt at home. Handy base for exploring Snowdonia and mid Wales. Excellent breakfast.
Very friendly atmosphere created from first arrival and great attention to detail in accommodation. Really impressed by offering a welcoming cup of tea or coffee immediately on arrival. Room met all expectations.
Fantastic home cooked breakfast with a great tick box sheet we filled in at night with our preferences. Lovely farm house with a cosy, rustic atmosphere. Warm and friendly welcome.
There could have been some soft background music/ radio on in the breakfast room in the morning as it was very quiet.
A wonderful stay, from the extra friendly welcome right through to the amazing farmhouse breakfast at the end. This hidden gem of a B&B was generous with the sorts of little 'extras' which make all the difference. We loved our stay - thank you!
Quiet room, good breakfast, friendly owner.
Dusty road to property
Staff was lovely, loved the homemade shortbread served when we arrived.
Wifi was terrible, could not get on it so could not look on internet about places nearby to go to :(
Liked the feel of the place very nice
The warm welcome and excellent cooked breakfast.
The breakfasts were delicious!!! The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The family were warm and extremely hospitable. I felt welcomed and pampered from the first minute. I'll stay there again….soon I hope.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Nothing it was all lovely we can't wait to come back!
The owner was lovely, really enjoyed our stay here over the Easter holiday. Incredibly helpful with the local attractions and places to visit. Great location, 5 mins drive from Bala town which has all the things you could need. The morning breakfast is just sublime, we filled out a leaflet when we first arrived which allowed us to select what we would like in our fry up each morning. It was very detailed. Excellent idea. Also to note, a huge thumbs up to the hosts daughter who worked hard to keep our table clean and up to scratch. Excellent waiting service indeed. In short, Rhydydefaid Farm B&B is my new go to when I want a weekend escape to Snowdonia. Wonderful stay.
As a young couple, the walls are a little thin so we felt like we were in a step parents house, this is a cheeky negative. We never were given a wifi code and forgot to ask as the only times we saw the host was at breakfast.
Service and food made our stay enjoyable.
Heating was turn down low and I found it to be cold and the same comment was made from the rest of the party. But this would be my only negative comment .
A really good tradition farmhouse bed and breakfast. Great friendly service and great locally sourced breakfast
