Room was very small no wardrobes or chest of drawers. Had to use our case to keep our clothes in. Did not get a full english breakfast as advertised in your booking details only had a round of toast and cornflakes.. Bed matress was past its best you could feel all the springs parking was small and only room for 2 cars (we did get 1) otherwise only paid street parking. Only stayed the one night but still had topay the stand in manager for the 3 nights. He said the owner was abroad who was the cook and he did not know how to do a cooked breakfast.and also had no authority to only charge us for the one night. If the room we booked which was advertised as delux..the other rooms must be much worse.

I originally booked through Booking.com and had to change it by one day. I phoned Booked.com and changed it a week before. When I got to the hotel they had not been informed of the change and could only put me in a small single room which was not a problem..... Unfortunately the tv did not work, the kettle only worked when I held the switch down, the shower only had lukewarm water and in the morning there was no hot water and I had to boil a kettle for hot water. When I complained I was told we don't usually rent this room out.

staff were very helpful regarding the security of my bicycle. My room was clean, freshly painted and nice and warm. There was a nice bunch of other guest who appeared to be regulars at the hotel.

Friendly service and very helpful with my bike storage as I stayed here prior to cycling the trans pennine trail. Excellent value for money. Warm and clean with an excellent full english in the morning.

Warm room clean bedding

No soap... Mattress went "boing" when you moved got a phone call at 12:40 in the night as we had left to go home - it could have waited till the following day...

loved the bed.. brand new.. staff was amazing... nothing was 2much trouble.. very friendly.. had a great stay felt very comfy and at ease... will go back....archie the dog made our stay he is a lovely dog.. Lx
