Great Location : friendly staff : free parking
All were satisfactory.
Personnel could be trained to be less "robotic" !
Was ideally located, staff were polite and room clean.
Searched booking.com for 2 adults in Richmond and subsequently booked this hotel but noticed on confirmation that it was for one guest. Rang hotel and said double room with extra guest would be an additional £63. I emailed booking.com straight away and to date have no reply. I had to pay the additional money and also feel that it should be mentioned that the hotel has scaffolding around the building and work started at 8.oo a.m. on Saturday morning.
The location was fantastic, just a short 5 minute walk to the train station. Staff was pleasant and the rooms were fine. I would stay there again.
It is still a wee bit pricey for the age and amenities of the hotel but overall, I was quite satisfied
Location and staff, one of whom moved their car so we could park ours, would stay again
Location Car parking
location, comfortable room
Comfy room, wifi, staff are mostly attentive
Noise from street traffic - I usually wake up to the sound of birds. Noisy wedding party in adjoining room.
The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Richmond centre, close to the station. Staff are very helpful and the bed was really comfortable with lovely cotton bed linen. Most importantly, the room and all other areas I saw were spotlessly clean.
3pm check in is a little late but reception let me leave my bag there when I arrived.
We were made very welcome on arrival and given our room key and how to find our room. the room was very clean and had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice hotel in Richmond.
Not a lot to be honest, wifi worked.
Not a lot to be honest, kettle in room broken tv in room stuck on one channel, room too hot had to open window, noise from constant aircraft unacceptable, scaffolding obscuring light and views. Breakfast in edible
Richmond is great, really is something for everyone!
Needs a bigger car park. Scrap the rear 'garden'. It's the only ropey thing about the hotel.
All the above
Too noisy..Heathrow flight path early morning!
Redecoration work to the outside of the building meant scaffolding being put up outside our window at 8am. This gave the workman a clear view into our bathroom which had large frosted glass windows with no curtains, ridiculous. The latches on the windows were broken where, presumably, other guests had been trying to hang the towels to get some privacy.
10-15 minute walk from Richmond Park Close proximity to town centre, supermarkets etc. Comfortable bed Nice deep bath. Little patio garden although this does onlook the car park .
No one at the front desk when I came to check in. Had to wait 10 mins until someone walked in the door. Room smelled funny - part musty, part stale air freshener. Do not disturb sign ignored repeatedly. Loud, rude scaffolders and maintenance people from early in the morning. They were swearing and complaining about people complaining about the noise (not me, I daren't have bothered!!) Also smoking cigarettes right outside my window. There was no warning there would be serious maintenance work going on during my stay. It was horrible. Cleaning staff repeatedly ignored my note asking that the bed not be made up and kept rearranging it anyway. Left a day early it was so noisy.
Was close to Tube station and the Thames highlights, two of our favourite Golf Clubs and a couple of Pubs. Worked well for us.
A bit pricey but I guess that is what you get close to London!
Quiet location Close to the station Friendly staff Clean and tidy On site parking
Location, Parking service. very convient for our visit to te archives.
Roomy, comfortable, good internet connection, good location etc
Expensive for travellers like us
Good value. Good location, five minute walk to Richmond station. Free parking.
Nothing to write home about.
The comfortable bed, spacious room & bathroom. Also a bath after a long day of walking.
Close proximity to tube station and access to London.
Limited on site parking if arriving late in the day.
easy access to restaurants and transport, with free car park. large room for a London hotel and lovely modern bathroom.
No instructions on website re location of car park - not easy to find, had to park up and ring hotel for directions. Inconsiderate other guests (door slamming!) was disturbing but not hotels fault.
helpful staff clean comfortable rooms location parking
couldnt find any faults with the hotel
