Good location although slightly up hill if walking back from town. Very pleasant stay and very nice staff
Parking Breakfast Hospitality Bar
Fantastic view across the bay from the room
Breakfast was a little limited
My room was huge with a balcony & an amazing view. Massive bed, would have fit 3/4 people! Very clean. It was freezing outside but toasty warm in the hotel & my room. Staff were pleasant.
It's really needs a lick of paint, new carpets (noticed the smell on arrival) Very 80s. No hairdryer in my room & none on Reception despite stating in booklet that there would be. Was promised one, it did not materialise, the night porter managed to get one from an empty room. The lift is tiny. Patio doors very difficult to open.
breakfast was good and the staff couldn't be more helpful.
The parking was a problem not enough and lacked information in the rooms about services and area.
Clean, Comfortable, Warm, Friendly and a very good deal with Booking.com. What more do you need.
Some narrow stairs, not much parking.
the view was fantastic
parking is very limited was told to park on the road but mainly double yellow lines after a good few moments some one came out and we got a space could not move the car after.
Good location, friendly staff, good quality towels in bathroom, room was large and warm,it was freezing outside.good value for what we paid.
Car park at hotel could be a problem, not enough spaces.if you take your car out may not get a space when you come back.
The B&B cost was very reasonable. We were given a very nice English breakfast and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We had no hot water in the morning. Parking was available for only a few cars so we had to park in the street.
lovely room with excellent view over the bay
very good value
Very good for the money
Poor phone signal and wifi is only in the bar
the room was a good size, great views over the sea, big bathroom, clean. friendly staff (manager)
needs another shelf in the bathroom and hooks on back of doors. Didn't feel very safe on balcony as the rails are very rusty. Weren't given info on any facilities, even though it looked as if there were things to do in hotel. staff were ultra casual, to the point of scruffiness (not the manager). breakfast was pretty dire.
Stayed in this hotel because it was less costly than a taxi ride home. I was very pleased with the room and the staff were really friendly. I could find no fault.
Clean room & comfortable bed, perfectly good enough for stay-over after office party. £10 cheaper than anywhere else in staggering distance from Pierpoint! Without the VAT they're only charging a shade over £20, and this includes breakfast and parking!
Lovely old building, must cost a fortune to run & maintain, and this shows. Breakfast came initially without advertised sausage. As the room was deserted i took it back to the kitchen myself, pushing open a door covered with sticky hand-prints. I didn't dare ask what the breakfast menu meant by "with our daily special extra!" The tea was one bag floating around in a pot, and even rescuing it and dunking in my cup somehow failed to turn it from grey to brown! Not really the place to take yer better half i'd say, that's if you're looking to impress, but THQH it's fair enough value for money that leaves you £10 for a couple of extra drinks.
Breakfast was very nice
Not being aloud to park annoyed me straight away . Being told to park up the road or in the car park close by . but that costs . Heaters never workrd in our room . My child was frozen all night .
good breakfast, good location, fair room size
no wireless in the rooms, did not feel very welcome at arrival as there were many students "hanging around" in the reception area.. it seemed like Ive just interrupted their conversation
great place very comfortable place relax place. Very friendly hotel
I liked everything about this hotel, the staff were lovely, the room was comfortable, it had amazing views. I would use this hotel again.
Balcony with great view
Probably old building maybe could do with a lick of paint here and there
closeness to shops and seaside. All attraction bus stops etc were very conveinient .
we were ok with every aspect of our stay
Close to theatre Clean Good value for money
Our room was noisy. We could hear loud voices until way past midnight and then again 7.30 am. Not many staff visible at reception
We liked the large room size and the kids (aged 5 and 2) loved the bunk beds. The room was nice and warm. The breakfast was nice enough with a decent selection of fruit and cereal. The staff were happy to provide extra toast and coffee. We didn't book breakfast with the room but it was only £5 extra and the kids were free so I thought that was really good value. I liked the fact there was entertainment in the evening. The singer reminded a bit of Neil Diamond. The bar prices were very reasonable too. Overall we were very happy with our choice of hotel
I would of liked a slightly larger cooked breakfast but that is probably just me being greedy. A sea view and a balcony would of been nice
The room was far too hot even turned the heating off not a bad thing for most people.
The size of the rooms was brilliant and the location was good for us as a young couple Very clean
The room was very old fashioned and it smelt like old people.the floor boards was very squeaky could hear everyone moving around The room was on the fire exit stairs and the weather was awful while there and all we could hear was water dripping down heavily onto stairs staff were always on there phones at reception when we were coming in and out of hotel and not wearing a uniform so receptionist just looked like a customer.
