The bed was very comfortable Selection on tray in room was very mean. Slight sweaty smell in bathroom. Would be a good idea to give the bathroom floor an extra good clean.

Fabulous location, inclusive use of spa. Comfort and quality . Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of food at breakfast buffet. Room a little on the small side for the price.

Right place, professional and right for Richmond. We thought that the bedrooms were very cramped, particularily the bathroom where the toilet roll holder prevented comfortable use of the toilet. The additional charge for breakfast was stretching things a tad!

Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and conformtable. The location is the top of the Richmond Hill which is great for the town but if you have any mobility issues it may be a problem. The pool was much better than looked on the web site and Jaquzzi was fantastic! The bed was the smallest double bed I have ever seen. The bathroom was very small! The wash hand basin was not a full size and too small to have a quick swill! Only one set of towels were left in the bathroom. A further set were hidden in a cupboard but this was only the first day after this we had one set for two adults!

Room was compact but comfortable. Really close to the Thames River and it is nice to take a walk along the river. There is a health center that offers complementary for guest. It has warm Jacuzzi and pool, SPA and healthy massage and hot sauna. This hotel is nice to taking some rest and quiet holiday.

Beautiful location near to Richmond super views of the river. Drink prices very high but nearby restaurants and bars cheaper. Room rather small, but good deal.

Food and service in the restaurant. Location Bedroom of a scale much smaller than one would expect in an hotel of the anticipated quality. No lifts provided for access between reception area and the restaurant and other facilities. Taxi from Richmond Station seemed to have to travel twice round the central area before it got to the hotel !

I had a standard double room which was small - when I left, I asked the receptionist to organise a taxi, which didn't arrive and she couldn't be bothered to make another call - although she was semi-polite.

Access to the gym, pool and spa was really good. Good to have a relatively late check out time at 12pm meaning I had time to get up and have a nice morning using the facilities. The room itself was fine, nothing special but comfy bed, nice size TV, nice little balcony which we didn't use as it was pouring with rain at the time but would be very pleasant had the weather been better. Charging for WiFi in 2012 is pretty inexcusable. Charging for breakfast I understand but it's still not brilliant when the hotel isn't cheap. And at £12 a head breakfast isn't cheap either. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were poor too - instant coffee and no choices of tea (no green, peppermint etc). Also not so much a complaint as a thing to note about the car parking. I thought I'd paid £5 for use of the car park through booking.com, but then the hotel charged me for it explaining that I hadn't actually been charged via booking.com, but they actually use the option on the site as an indication you would like to reserve a spot in the car park and not a guarantee you get a spot. Bit confusing really, but basically if you choose a car parking spot through booking.com you're not guaranteed it and you won't get charged until you check out.

Excellent price and superb facilities including free access to the spa. Close access to Richmond Park a bonus for morning jog / stroll. Staff also excellent with a mix up with our bill in the morning. Highly recommended. Room was on small side and was quite warm despite winter's day, so rather this than cold...!!!

The staff were professional and friendly and the facilities were very good. The menu wasn't inspiring and the room I stayed in didn't seem like it belonged in a 4 star hotel ( carpet needed replacing and the wood work had seen better days )! Having said that, everything was spotless!
