showeer took its time to warm up.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available over a good range of times, a good selection of food and drink was available and the service was very prompt.
To run water into the sink in my room caused a lot of noise, and water did not clear from the sink at all quickly. I think some work on these aspects of the plumbing is needed.
Bit noisy when you sleeping down stairs apart from that good
This is a pleasant hotel in Chingford. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I only stayed one night but was very pleased with the facilities. The evening meal was very nice and excellent value for money which, as I was travelling with2 children saved me trying to find somewhere to eat. The breakfast was great.
My only, nit picking, complaint was that bed was very soft and as I am no longer young was a little interesting the next day.
Cramped room, ensuite was shower cubicle in room, toilet was like a cupboard. Bed uncomfortable, no duvet just sheet and blanket. When we put kettle on bubbles came out of it. Thin walls, could clearly hear other guests. All very dated and tatty. Very limited parking. No lift.
Oatmeal for breakfast.
not very personal
Beds and pillows could be more comfortable
Breakfast was good Free wifi
The room was very disappointing. The ensuite was a shower cubicle in middle of room. The toilet was in a tiny cupboard like room, with barely room to turn round. You could clearly hear peoole in neighbouring rooms. We were on top floor and there is no lift. Would have been nice if we had been offered help with heavy suitcase.
Personal touches, as it was good old fashioned family run BnB
4 poster bed, jacuzzi bath, breakfast (very good) friendly staff, situation, our room had French doors on to the patio leading to manicured lawn and pond, extremely good value, clean and spacious :)
The patio door opened out next to the dining room window ( but there was no one in there in the evening) and the frogs from the pond like to explore after dark so you can't leave the doors open which we had to as it was very hot that night and there's no air con or fan.
difficult to get by a public transport, it takes time to reach the place from the city centre
Nothing about this hotel.
Hotel is very dated and run down, the so called en-suite was more like a broom cupboard, when you sat on the toilet your forehead was on the wall, the bed sheets were stained,no duvet a bedspread and an old brown blanket.A bare light bulb with no shade was the lighting. After we had paid we were told our room was at the very top of the stairs in the roof space, it's the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
The staff were very nice
The building was tired and the space in the room was very small. i.e the toilet and shower were basically cupboards
Friendly and efficient staff
Reception area looked a bit dated .
They gave us a ground floor room with good facilities and an excellent breakfast good sausages
Parking unavailable as we were late
Staff were friendly and helpful. Was allowed to check in early which helped. The price for room and breakfast is very good.
The room was small and needed attention. If you are a larger person you may not get to sit comfortably on the toilet. The room was facing the main rd which made it very noisy indeed. For one night, ok for the price.
Staff were pleasant & helpful
Room was tiny. I rang a week before my stay to check if they had parking for my coach and was told yes. When i arrived there was none & had to park 2 miles away. The so called bar had no draft beer only cans and bottles @ £3 for a can of lager. The a la carte restaurant never opened. As a coach driver i get to stay in all sorts of places from hostels to hotels and in my opinion they should advertise it as a guest house at best but definitely not a HOTEL
Location is great for travelling into London Bed was very comfortable Price very reasonable for Ensuite single room including breakfast
Walls are very thin so can hear noise from other guests
food was acceptable, staff were friendly and helpfull. the garden area was nice though some of the garden furniture could have done with replacing.
thought the bed covers looked old and outdated much prefer a duvet. wasnt keen on having the shower and toilet straight into the room, toilet very small and claustrophobic. although food was good didnt think the pick 5 items was suitable for a hotel.
lovely breakfast. clean, tidy and value for money
staff where great location was good breakfast was good
The triple room we booked had ample space with an en suite bathroom. Room was kept tidy daily and tea & coffee supplies replenished. Breakfast was good. Overall good value for money.
A nice friendly hotel in a residential area. Good value for money with an excellent full English. The bus to raj London Underground is right next door.
Could do with money spent sprucing up the decor.
