Just about everything, it was clear that much effort had been made to decorate for Christmas. The breakfast itself was excellent, however the placement of the toasters adjacent to the breakfast buffet was ridiculous, people were queueing for toast and others could not access the tureens near the toasters.

We were there just for an overnight stay and arrived too late for dinner. But we had a luxury suite, which was excellent and lived up to expectations, room service was prompt (although they could have cut the crusts off the sandwiches!) and breakfast was superb. Overall an excellent place.

Staff are very very friendly. The setting is excellent and the house has lots of character. Food was very good. Good swimming pool. All round good country hotel. Due to its layout the distance to some rooms from reception is a bit of a trek but if you like that,as we did, it could be seen as a bonus

The Receptionist was fabulous and the building and rooms superb considering the hotel is only 3*. I asked on checking out why Ringwood Hall is not a 4* as having stayed at plenty of hotels it certainly deserves to be one and was told this was due to not having a lift for access as they are a listed building and one cannot be installed. This seems odd as the hotel is excellent! I think there could be a more interesting menu at dinner as the high standard of the hotel deserves.

Hotel was full of character and nice and warm ,unlike some we have stayed in, on what was one of the coldest days this year. Staff were very friendly and welcoming . Room very comfortable. We were there for a function where we enjoyed good food with a Hot Buffet in one of the character function rooms.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean. The hotel is fairly close to the railway station and there was a good taxi service. We did not expect to be in an ajoining room and lets say close up and personal comes to mind and that was a bit offputting for us!

It looked lovely from the outside, friendly & helpful staff upon arrival and it is a beautiful hotel. Didn't really explore the hotel or sample facilities so could not comment. Comfy & well decorated rooms. The room sizes look very generous in the pictures however was disappointed that it was quite tiny once we had checked in. The bed was comfy but a little small, for a four poster we expected it to be a bit bigger than a standard double. The Jacuzzi bath was great, however there wasn't much else of a bathroom rather a cupboard size room with sink and wc.

It was a very good Hotel with excellent facilities. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were extremely disappointed when we discovered our kettle in the room was not working. We asked the staff on 3 different occasions to exchange this, but they informed us that it was working down at reception. As I am disabled I requied boiled water for my medication I informed them of this but they still said that it was working. Therefore I had to ask a friend in another room for this facility. This I consider not up to your standards.

The room was clean and lighted well. A bar snack was good and quickly served. Prevarication about WiFi; there was no reception in my room, but the receptionist insisted that I should be able to connect, thus wasting a significant amount of my time.

Nice leisure suite, nice room size. Breakfast was of good quality but a little unorganised (see below) Breakfast on the sunday morning wasnt very well organised. They seem to be busy every weekend, so you'd think they would know how to organise and deliver breakfast efficiently, without constantly running out of everything.

We has a lovely night, all staff were very polite and helpful, the room was beautiful and the food was gorgeous, would return for another trip and reccomend Although the room was clean not all aspects of the room had been done, ie a Rose petal from the previous people was left under bed, and a towl didn't not look too clean and had marks on it!

Normally out of our price range but the offer was exceptional for the quality of the hotel, food and the excellent staff. Would definately stay again if the offer is repeated. Could be a problem for disabled/ wheelchair people as there did not appear to be a lift and there were several small stairs which had to be manouvered.
