Very helpfull and able staff, liked the ambience and location of the premises, food and service good. Well presented bar overall pleasant layout of the facilities. Our room was above the kitchen area. Would recommend that consideration be given to reducing the noise levels from the kitchen late in the evening e.g. banging of kitchen utensils such as pots and pans.

The room was comfortable and the view was magnificent. The breakfast was good and there was adequate car parking. We would certainly stay there again. The hotel is split level, which could be a problem for the aged and infirm.

An excellent country hotel with efficient courteous staff in a lovely location. The dining room offers good quality non fussy dishes at reasonable cost. Our room was warm & comfortable with a bay window overlooking the valley. The bathroom facilities were fine with a good shower. So much more character than bland modern chain hotels. All in all a great choice for accommodation & food. We will be using this as our base for future visits to Cheltenham.

The friendliness of the staff, the relaxed atmosphere, nothing seemed too much trouble. Also the food was excellent, varied choice of menu and well presented. The only criticism I have is that staying in a single room, I felt that this accommodation was, as usual, put at the back of the hotel (similar to other hotels stayed in). I had no view, which was a pity as most of the rooms looked out onto the countryside where the view is spectacular.

The view from the Hotel was marvelous. It was a pity it was cloudy and misty.Enjoyed the variety of menu for Breakfast. The Bedroom was very hot, and being on the ground floor with a bedroom overlooking the Beer Garden could not leave the window open.Found the dinner menu's confusing several different pieces of paper we were not given all the options available, perhaps they should be presented in one folder.

The hotel was clean, comforatable and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. It was very good value for money at the discounted booking.com price, aspecially as one of our 2 rooms ended up being the suite and the single room booked was a family room due to availability. You could tell the hotel has been around for a while but it had a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the rooms had everything you needed. A great cooked breakfast included and dinner was nice too

The value for money was great including the cost of bar food. The outsidde area was nice with absolutely stunning views. The shower in the bathroom was amazingly powerful. The Bathroom probably needed a little more attention as their was a little mould on th ceiling.
