The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location suited very well for shopping and visiting the SPA Complex. The decoration in our room was very poor and the central heating was broken. An oil filled portable heater was provided but I felt this was not good enough. While the ensuite was clean the corners of the room left a lot to be desired. |

Bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, this hotel is suitable for people on a budget. The room allocated to us is in serious need of an make over, the 'en- suite' was extremley small and pokey and had enough room for a single shower and toilet only, the wash basin was located in the corner of the bedroom, the very dated tv in the room also had a very poor reception. |

Ask for a good room - where we were very comfortable. Good meals, pleasant staff and fun entertainment with the coach-party clientele. First night in the pot-luck bargain room on second floor was hot and cramped. |

Very good value for money. Room had everything you needed. Short walk to either the sea front or the town centre. Noise from hotel/bar across the road and from the live entertainment in the hotel itself can be heard until about 11pm. |

When we arrived no record of booking, Decor - damp patches, mould round shower, wallpaper peeling off walls, carpet in halls joined with duct tape. Rooms - very small, en-suite so small sink in bedroom, facilities - one small mirror, no hairdryer or dressing table, only one plug point which limited the use of own hairdryer etc., food - meal times restricted to guest house hours, choice of meals very limited. |

I loked the way in which they promptly dealt with the minor problem of a malfunctioning curtain. Our shower/toilet cubicle was on the small side. |

It was a convenient location for the party we were attending at another hotel. The room was nothing like any of the pictures shown on the website, very deceiving. They seem to shove people who stay only one night to the bowels of the hotel. Very poor standard room, grubby and old fashioned. Uncomfortable hard bed. Breakfast was dry and overcooked. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing - we were asked 3 different times what breakfast we would like. Wouldn't stay there again. |

Although the room needed decorating, it was clean, light and comfortable, staff were friendly and polite. Delay in checking in, was an hour later than stated, had to sit around waiting. |

The hotel was extremely well run by friendly, competent and efficient staff. Dining room arrangements were excellent and the food very good. Our room was comfortable and clean and everything worked. We felt efficiencies were gained by not providing things like toiletries, but providing the important things like a comfortable king-size bed and soft towels that were changed daily. The corridor areas were still in the process of being redecorated, but this is only a very minor point, and compensated for by the excellent staff. |

Staff very friendly and helpful. About half the price of a Travelodge or similar so good value. Not the most up-to-date rooms. No dressing table/desk to put laptop on. |
