Park Plaza Riverbank London  

The rooms were modern, spacious and clean, and the staff were all friendly. The location was great, well worth the upgrade to the river view room as we booked two rooms, one executive and one superior, and the superior had a view of train tracks and a disused office and we could hear the trains when we went to bed, it didn't bother us but might if you are a light sleeper. Close to Vauxhall tube station, only took us around 10 minutes to walk there.

The only negative thing I would say is that the cleaning lady tried to come in the room in the morning before we checked out and woke us up.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good design and the bathroom was spacious. Great location right on the Thames. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good hotel and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Since I paid more to get a river view, the result is a fantastic view of the parliment and Big Ben at a distance very suitable for photo. Very nice view, highly recommend. I choose to have no breakfast so it is cheaper. And thank you (Booking.com) for providing me so much information that I know what to request from this hotel.

Strange smell in the bath room, probably from the sewage pipe since I have check all the floor. I asked the staff to help remove it, they did, but still a bit.Staff mostly not very friendly, no smile, opposite to what I expected from a four star hotel. not closed to the tube. Parking alright 13 pounds /12 hours. The name of the Hotel i confusing. It is not Park Plaza Riverbank hotel! It is luky that I ask the man from the door to know that this was it!

Staff all very helpfull and polite.

The heating in the room was very poor. Room was cold. Had to complain to get a small portable heater sent up to the room.

The bar is hideously overpriced - £16 for a glass of wine and a vodka and soda??

The room was cold but it was a very cold day and we were given extra heaters when we requested them.

I chose this hotel for my friends birthday - staff were lovely, we got into the room and considering it was snowing the room was baking hot!!!! The air con didn't blow out cold air so we spent the evening with the window wide open on the 9th floor whilst it was snowing!!!! It room I'd not cool down and when I phoned the reception all they said was 'I believe if u leave the window open it will cool down'. When I woke up in the morning I opened my curtains to see at least 10 rooms that had their windows open wide too do wasn't only an issue for us!!! I asked if there was car Parkin prior to arriving and wasn't told when I left I had to pay 26 for the privilege of one night !!!! Considering the amount I paid for the room I felt this should have been included!!!

The well trained staff, who clearly want you to have a good stay and to return to the hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were helpful, but unobtrusive. The food was excellent, both at breakfast and at dinner in the restaurant. The bedroom was well equipped and comfortable, although, very warm. This may have been due to the almost arctic weather conditions, during my stay. I would probably opt for an upgrade to a room with a view, if staying longer, or for a leisure visit, as the view from my room was of the rooms opposite. The hotel is very well placed on the embankment for views of the Thames, Houses of Parliament, etc.

on the first night I could not sleep due to the train noise. But I moved rooms and was much better the following night.

Fantastic location, so easy to walk to see the attractions. Hotel was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Really nice hotel, great facilities and very nice cooked breakfast buffet in the morning. We were a little late down to and the staff still looked after us well.

Only thing I would say is that it was a bit of a way from the tube station (10-15 minute walk) which wouldn't be a problem in good weather but is was cold and windy when we went.
