Was expecting a little more for our money..rooms are all the same even though we upgraded to an executive suite...which unfortunately overlooked the railway lines

My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon. We were walking distance to the London Eye and Parliament House. The staff was amazing. They upgraded us to a suite with a view of the parliament house. After we checked in we recieved a personalized card under the door. The room was very clean. Overall we were pleased with the hotel and the service that was provided. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

Staff was friendly,felt comfortable and relaxed.The food at the restaurant was amazing(coming from a person that doesn't have Asian food amongst its favourites).

As a lesbian couple we felt very relaxed in your hotel and having a drink on the sat evening was enjoyable. The hole weekend was great, this is my 2nd stay with you and I will defo be coming back ...

We got woke up at 9am wanting to see if there was dishes to be removed and then at 10am someone walked in to clean the room !!

Clean and stylish hotel. It was very comfortable and in an excellent location on the riverbank.

Our room was next to the lifts, which could be quite noisy. We were woken early in the morning by the sound of the lifts being used. When mentioned on checkout we were told that the hotel thought the lifts may be noisy but were not sure if the noise would disturb you. I thought this was a complete lie, they very well knew it was loud and would disturb us. We were told we would not be given that room again if we returned but I doubt I will return.

The room wasn't as described on our booking form I.E. facilities & view. When we viewed our bill on the television in our room on the morning of our departure we were horrified to seewe had supposely drunk the content of the mini bar, needed to pay our room bill again and had lunch in the restaurant a couple of times. When I asked at reception I got asked what r u talking about!

Good location. The view from our suite was superb and the room was very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed.

I specifically requested an executive room with a view (and that the hotel should contact me to confirm if this was not available) as part of the booking and we were not allocated one. When I returned to the desk to query this the lady on the desk was dismissive, not very understanding and told us to go back to our room and a manager would call. However we waited to see a manager who upgraded us to a suite for an additional £30 per night. The suite was lovely and view was amazing. If you really want the view make sure you call to confirm they have availability as the hotel didn't appear to acknowledge I had requested it as part of the booking and had also asked the hotel to contact me if a room with a view wasn't available as I may have looked elsewhere.

Quality of hotel, decor and general high standard. Friendly staff, amazing location and beautiful breakfast views.

Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, great beds, only a 7 min walk to Vauxhall Tube makes it as good as being anywhere in the centre of London, great night bus connections to Vauxhall means you can get home at any hour.

No bottle opener in room. Requested one and waited for aaaages... Didn't come so called again and waited for aaaages. Great bar and food downstairs - unfortunately overpriced though. Arranged a late checkout directly with reception staff at no charge until 2:00pm but then they tried to charge me for late checkout when I actually checked out.... Even though they made the change in the computer while I was standing there. The message didn't get through to housekeeping either who tried twice to kick me out of my room before 2pm Overall (with the exception of the checkout bungle) my experience at this hotel was excellent and I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

The presentation of the room and the hotel. That I mentioned that it was my partners birthday, They are designed the bed real nice for a couple.

The view from an executive room is just priceless

Breakfast dining room - great views from panoramic window - layout of tables and food stations user friendly and attractive. Nice breakfast food. Nice room - particularly the bathroom.

Heating of room - not cosy. We had to request additional fan heater (instantly provided). Unattractive view from our room window of main railway line into Waterloo Station. Trains were only a few metres from window (although good soundproofing made them almost inaudible).

Well furnished and comfortable bedrooms, even if you couldn't afford the views of the Thames and Westminster skyline. Informative and friendly staff. Within half a mile of Vauxhall subway station.

Surprised not to be woken up when the fire bell went off and everyone had to be evacuated, except us who slept soundly. No staff checks to see everyone was accounted for. We could have been burned alive, but lived to tell the tale. I think a guest might have been illegally smoking!!!

Was posh and very nice. Rooms were very modern and had all facilities needed. Upgraded to very posh breakfast.

Little attention given to engagement. Not even an option of being able to pay for something extra to be put in room given when an email was sent asking basically for this. Poor choosing of room for such a special occasion. Very poor view. Room with a view of another room.

The location and size of room

The rooms were like ice buckets, we had to get a second key in order to leave some heat on when we left the room, it was still cold when we returned and there were no blankets in the room. The bathroom floor needs to be heated as tiles freezing. The kettle had no plug socket close by
