Surprisingly the dinner was very good quality and the wine was pretty good although not one from the wine list. The hotel showed all the signs of a failing business. The room décor was tired, the bathroom dilapidated with poor quality fittings and not at all what we had expected.

Loved the friendly staff, relaxed attitudes, good food and the fact that my dog was welcome. The position on the river Avon is fantastic.

Lovely setting and easy going with our 2 dogs. Very nice breakfast. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent. The furnishings in the bedroom were a bit dated and the shower door kept coming off it's runners but the hotel seems to be in mid refurbishment and it didn't worry us much.

Absolutely nothing! Everything. This was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. We didn't get the room we had booked, the room they put us in (a jacuzzi double) was disgusting. Not clean, stains on the bedsheets, wallpaper peeling off, jacuzzi didn't work, bed dipped in the middle. Worse than Fawlty towers!

Position Condition of cleanliness was appalling from caked food on milk jug to curtains saturated with mildew. The list is very long and I consider the whole premises to be unhygienic and unhealthy to reside in.

I have already informed you of my experience at this hotel. It was dirty wallpaper pealing from walls. no disabled access the person who met us may have been the gardener- dressed in dirty jeans and shirt. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and it has made me think twice about using your service again

I loved the querky nature of the hotel and the very dry sense of humor of the proprietor. We had family join us for the time there and the evening meal was a memorable occasion. The main problems revolved arround little things needing attention, mainly small maintenance items. Spring is now here so I am sure these things will be fixed. For those not expecting a five star experience and know how to enjoy life, I definitely recommend it.

The couple that run the hotel were very very nice and the breakfast was good, as was the view from the hotel We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it. It was a little grubby, but not unbearably so.
