Friendly but not very efficient staff. Food was very good Site and views were idyllic. Staff were not well trained. Did not seem to know about office procedures. it took a long time to check out.

Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Very accommodating. The hotel was lovely and our accomodation was beautiful with stunning views. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful location. We booked a double room and got a suite on two floors with two balconies with tables and chairs overlooking the River Avon. Dinner was good: interesting menu, well presented, reasonably priced (as was the wine list) and served in dining room also with river views. We booked here because everywhere else near the Three Counties Showground was full and we were delighted at the outcome. Quirky arragement for watching tv which we never mastered. Apparently we should have turned the tv in the bedroom on first. Simple instruction sheet could have saved having to ask.

The room was basic with dust lying on lamps and surfaces. The en suite was basic and in need of refurbishment as was the room. although staff were friendly and helpful the braekfast service was a bit of a shambles with poor table service- No cutlery, milk, butter etc we had to ask for all those which should not be the case. Also no juices on display. Overall a lack of professionalism On the positive side the dinner was excellent with a good menu selection and well presented and cooked food

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, very welcoming. And the evening meal was possibly the best I've ever had in the uk. The chef really knows his stuff and serves good sized portions- you definitely need to eat in!! The views are superb, the rooms are good sized and comfortable, and it is a very relaxing place to stay. Dog friendly too. Will defnitely be back.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, with lovely views over the countryside then this is the place for you. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere allowing residents to unwind. The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable without being intrusive.

As soon as you arrived on site you realised this was a great place to stay. At reception we were greeted with warmth and our breakfast was waiting for us as requested at 7am, the food was good. Well recommended place to stay and excellant value for money.

The location, peacfulness, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, this iswas our 4th stay and Brian the chef knows us as welcomes us like afriends. It was a shame when we had yto extend our stay in the area that we had to change hotels as the river side was full over the weekend. We will certainly return in the future.

Very friendly staff and a fantastic relaxing environment, staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, including re openin the kitchens to cook evening meals at 10:45pm as we returned late from a day at work. The riverside hotel is great value for money and made working away from home a lot more pleasurable.

The service inthe hotel has greatly improved since our stay in october, the staff are still in need of training in efficiency. this time there were jugs for early morning tea.

“Quirky!! Room was beautifully decorated, everything was spotlessly clean! (you can maybe run workshops for the chain hotels) Dinner menu offered something for everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, using quality ingredients. Host was welcoming and the book collection dotted around the Hotel for guest’s perusal was interesting.
