Riverside Hotel  

teh breakfast was excellent. just the right quantity (not excessive). Location is very good and room basic but good.

balance the £75 paid against other alternatives in teh area for same quality

The hotel is only 10 minutes walking from the tube station and is right on the river Thames. It's only just a few minutes from all the shops and restaurants. My room had a view on the river.

The heating was not working properly. At night it was turned off completely. Also, the room is not well insulated, so you can feel the cold coming into the room. Sometimes the heating was working well.

Location was good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite good.

Hotel needs complete re-furbishment. Pokey single room on 2nd floor - no sound proofing so quite noisy. My friend has a room the basement which smelt damp. Hotel smelt of cooking as soon as you entered .... the kitchen is off breakfast room with no door - so smells permeate throughout the ground floor. Had to request soap for bathroom (all very basic) and tv didn't work properly. Could be a nice "boutique" hotel if completely overhauled.

Right on the banks of the Thames this was a beautiful location in a small but ancient town with nice shopping and pubs. The staff were fantastic and gave us a much better room than we'd been able to reserve.

This is not a complaint about the hotel at all, but this is not some place to stay if you want to visit London, the commute is not easy on the weekend. This is somewhere to stay for river walks scenic views & kew gardens.

Excellent location near transport and many restaurants, plus very friendly and helpful staff. We would stay there again and recommend it highly.

the location, the wonderful view of the garden and the river Thames, the staff very helpful and friendly, the room very clean, the copious breakfast, I will definitely come back to Riverside Hotel

I loved the full English breakfast and the quaint atmosphere of the hotel. The view of the Thames was lovely and there were excellent services such as wireless internet and tv.
