Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel was the first hotel in Bournemouth. It features 3 hotel restaurants, a health spa and lovely sea views.

We couldn't have chose better. Everywhere was clean and well decorated. Food was fabulous and with an in-house bar and lounge it was a winner all round. Will definitly be returning.
The unobstructed and amazing views of Bournemouth beach. Only a 5 minute walk to the cliff top walk to the beach.
All was well. Nothing bad worth mentioning.
Location is key and this hotel is situated at an excellent place right on the sea front.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was basic but all what you needed. Bed was very comfy, veiw was amazing and loved waking up to the sea, will book again when need a hotel for sure...
I was asked to hand my car keys in which was fine as parking space is limited and they may have needed to move it while we were out, however when it came to key collection we were just offered a box full of keys to pick ours out. I am a trustworthy person but I'm also realistic and some people may take a fancy to someone else's car! However this did not detract from an overall lovely stay :)
The staff were very friendly, and although we had booked a double room they offered my friend and I a twin which was perfect and came with the bonus of a beautiful sea view!
Car parking is tight but at least they have some. The reception doesn't look very inviting but once you are in the rest of the facilities are fine.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and good value. Our room was comfortable with lovely views along the coast.
Parking is a big issue here, unless you are happy to hand over your car keys to the hotel, which the hotel seem to think they have a right to - I've never met this situation before in my life! One morning the owner of the hotel even came hammering on my door to demand my car keys, even though my car was out of the way and blocking nobody. They really need to get this situation improved, although with such a tiny carpark it is difficult to see how. Nonetheless this is a major problem here. Incredibly squeaky floorboards (but this is typical of old buildings) Despite best efforts shower seemed to vary only between freezing cold and blisteringly hot Beware the sea view rooms cost more than advertised on booking - this is why the full payment is made on arrival at the hotel, and not via booking.com. Very cheeky.
Spectacular views out to sea Comfortable bed Quaint hotel Clean Good location out of centre but within short walk of pubs, restaurants Quiet generally Backed onto a lovely park Represents good value for money
Hotel quite costly, for our break very old needs modernisation badly ,very old fashioned would not stay there again. nice walks nearby and nice sea view though
the location was very good
As usual in UK, hotels are very outdated.
Location and staff (good recommendations)
The lights didn't work in the corridor at first. Breakfast was delicious but it seems we were not entitled to have it even though we were happy to pay!
Warm greeting. Clean room and comfortable bed. Excellent location with wonderful views. Helpful staff.
Room given for us was unexpectedly small. Not much free space so felt little congested. But again the hotel overall was nice.
Very good location, views were perfect, service, staff and food was very commendable.
older clients moaning that somebody was sitting at there table for breakfast.well it didn't have reserved or room number on table.how were we supposed to know you,de been sitting there all week.i
Great location.clean room,friendly staff.
Friendly attentive staff. Clean and well maintained hotel
The staff were welcoming and friendly and we had an AMAZING sea view!!! We had a fabulous time, thank you and will be coming again soon
On arrival we found the owners to be very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a superb location close to sea and town centre amenities. It has a grand wide staircase with helpful shallow steps, but the lift was the preferred mode of transport when we had our suitcase! The Hotel was very clean and also had pretty and well kept gardens where they served refreshments. We sipped our drinks on the balcony to the Bar overlooking the sea. We had a beautiful room with sea and coastal views. We only stayed b&b, and breakfast was very good value. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.
The view from the room was good
Nothing negative to say.
Location was wonderful. A very short walk to the beach. The sea view from our room was lovely. The hospitality of the staff was great.
Great location, really nice staff, very nice room, cannot fault at all.
Fantastic location, very clean and well kept and very friendly staff and management.
Quite small room
Great location, wonderful view, very clean
Comfortable room. Very pleasant location
They have only 4 passes at a time, for the pool from Mariott Hotel(which is also far enough).
The location, the view and the cleanlines.
