Our room was between a party of men who came in at 5 o'clock in the morning and had no respect for other guests. The room was drab, the bathroom was tight and the hotel needs refurbishment badly. |

Very helpful receptionist as we checked in. Great location - only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Good 'full english' buffet breakfast. Although the room was clean and comfortable, it did feel slightly dated. |

The bathroom had been recently updated and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel in general rather dated. Building work happening next door so a bit of noise. |

The price is the lowest in the area when we booked. The room is clean and reasonably sized, with coffee/tea maker. We paid for a normal double room only but can see the sea from our window. It is within walking distance to newquay town centre and a number of surfing beaches. |

Friendly reception staff, always ready to help. Our initial room was without a shower, and they changed the room asap, with no hesitation. Within walking distance to Newquay but far enough away to be quiet. Ample parking. The hotel is in need of a re-vamp and lick of paint. The walls are chipped and cracked and bedding quite old and in need of replacing. It's a beautiful hotel that could be improved with a little tlc and diy. However, as mentioned previously, the staff being so friendly and helpful made up for any "decor / modern" issues. |

The Hotel Riviera was described as a budget hotel & I felt that was exceeded, a comfortable stay with a great location for coastal walks. Upgrades to the hotel would help as noted by other guest reviews, however it was never advertised as a 5 star luxury hotel. |

The View was fantastic The Breakfasts were very basic there could have been a little more choice and more thought in suppling low fat and calorie products as a norm. The 2nd floor room was very shabby and the state of the window frames is dangerous. The lift to my mind is essential especially for older people, for it to be out of action puts a damper on the holiday |

The beds were comfortable and clean and it was very good value. Breakfast was a bit DIY, you had to make your own toast, but it wasn't a problem |

With superb sea views, comfortable en suite rooms and a stylish modern bar, the Carnmarth Hotel looks out to sea over Fistral Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the UK. |
