A great location and central for everything...The public areas and the breakfast rooms are very well decorated however the rooms are starting to look a little jaded although it would be fair to say that our bathroom was immaculate and modern, We were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady who was extremely friendly and nice and served at breakfast by an equally efficient and polite young lady...The breakfast is varied and really nice. In summary a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and i would most certainly stay there again without doubt
Room was very nice even though it was rear facing. Breakfast was good. Good seating in the lounge. Easy walk to town centre and prom.
Stairs were a little narrow when carrying suitcases. The carpet in the room was threadbare at the side of the bed.
Comfortable room after an upgrade, superb breakfast. Hotel was clean & warm & welcoming.
Original standard room was gloomy, needy decorating in lighter tones
The louunge was very comfortable and spotless, The staff very pleasent and breakfast was excellent will stay again
A small bar would have been ideal but nothing we didnt like 10 out of 10
cooked breakfast was fantastic
room was a little small, but ok for what we needed
Room had a smell from bathroom and tap fell off shower
All of it. The breakfast was outstanding.
It was clean, comfortable and in a good location, the breakfast was very good too.
A lovely relaxing stay friendly staff and good food
Pleasant public lounge area with flat screen television. Extremely well decorated breakfast room with plenty of choices available. Attentive well mannered staff.
No bar which was a shame. It would have been nice to sit in the bar with a drink, due to the cramped bedroom space.
Staff and location all excellent, breakfast was delicious
Parking , but not really hotels fault as they did what they could to get us a space at a reduced rate
Room had everything we needed plus more ..breakfast was excellent ...staff very attentive
Good bed and great breakfast. Very pleasant staff.
Would benefit from a better shower.
Breakfast was superb
Great location, just opposite the Grand Hotel. Lovely breakfast.
Cleaning slightly hit-or-miss - tea mugs still where we left them - but otherwise fine.
It was a nice hotel
We had rooms on the fourth floor I think they need the decor updating its looking a little tired :-(
Bright, clean, warm and comfortable room..... excellent breakfast.......cosy lounge. The welcome and great service made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place.
Pillows and bed Great selection of breakfast food Waitress service Nice lounge
Paying £10 to park my car overnight No offer of help with bags Over the bath shower which was difficult to regulate
Nothing to fault.
The location was good, breakfast was beautiful..and they catered for a special diet..
The lift was very dated and noisy as were the floorboards..
Breakfast was excellent staff well presented and very pleasant location excellent would definately stay here again.
Needs a bar even just a small bar would make a big difference.
Location, good selection of cereals, lovely breakfast
The bedroom windows did not open
We have stayed six times in the immediate area when visiting our daughter at university in Scarborough. This hotel is on par if not better than the Premier Inn across the road but the breakfast is much better. The area is good because it is close to many bars and restaurants and easy access to the beach.
Car parking. However this is a general problem in Scarborough.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and the smartly dressed staff were very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the large quiet lounge area.
The guy at reception who was not very helpful and anxious to get away home. Also the shower screen that leaked water all over the floor!
Very good location, near to town centre. Good access to beach area. Riveria Town House was very clean, staff very helpful. Excellent choices for breakfast.
Parking was not easy as there is not always parking space outside hotel which meant parking some distance from the hotel. Parking away from hotel was £6.50 a day. Lift from promenade closed at 4.30 pm which meant a very steep climb back up to the hotel.
