Just a few paces from the beach, The Redcliff offers lovely views across Weymouth Bay, free limited parking and free Wi-Fi. Weymouth town’s restaurant and pubs are a 10-minute stroll away.
Score from 125 reviews Fabulous
With free private parking on site, this hotel has a great location on the esplanade in Weymouth, just metres from the sandy beach.

With a Beefeater restaurant and a bar, this Premier Inn is located by the Woodland Trust's Two Mile Coppice, just off the A354.
Score from 159 reviews Very good
Located to the north of Weymouth and close to the sea, Premier Weymouth is a comfortable, good-value base with free parking and an on-site Brewers Fayre restaurant.
Score from 287 reviews Very good
Reception staff were all very good. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Very comfortable beds.
Lack of lounge seating area. Tables dirty in lounge area. Disappointed in lack of maintenance of gardens.
room was very comfortable and clean and quiet.breakfast had very good choice.staff were friendly and helpful.
Having to walk to reception from our room in the rear building of the hotel to leave the room key and then back to the rear ,passed our room to the car park at the back where our car was every time we went out of the hotel. Then on return do the same thing almost ,to get the room key and walk back to our room. Its just the hotel layout causes this.
Lack of lounge facilities Small rooms
No baby cot which we ask for. The hotel was packed with fisherman that made so much noise at 5am and late at night. They packed the bar and restaurant so we had no were to sit at night. We should have been warned about this when we booked.
Location Rooms looked ok and were reasonably equipped. Leisure facilities looked good but didn't have chance to use them.
Rooms were small. No sound proofing with other rooms Beds were poor. Reception staff not that interested. Breakfast nothing impressive Not worth money
Location was great. Room was very modern. View was great Staff very nice
Room was well decorated but a bit on the small side not like the photo shows. knocked my leg on side of bed quite a few times
Great setting, fa,ntastic view, more chalet rooms than standard hotel. Note it is about three miles from central Weymouth but that is a bonus. Would stay again.
Sea fishing comp on the week we stayed so smell of old fish and bait quite strong.
Location, great views, beds really comfy, excellent breakfast. Love the indoor pool.
need more staff on reception and we had requested a downstairs room in advance but got an upstairs one on arrival, although they did then change this.
Arriving at 20.10 to be told they were not serving food due to a private event. Amount of space in room
On arriving at our allocated room we found the bed was broken I complained and they offered us a duvet to put over it to sleep on, I pointed out that there was already a duvet covering the damaged mattress so they moved us to another room and that bed was like sleeping on a on the concrete floor. The decor was very dated and there were dirty marks on the walls, there was daylight coming through the door frame and the windows did not close properly as this was on the ground floor and the door led straight out into the grounds we felt very exposed and unsafe. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in.
Everything was great, everything you could ask for.
There was nothing to dislike.
Location. Quality of fittings.
The rooms were too small - beds could have been smaller leaving more room to move around. The Shower panel restricted access to taps - meaning that you could only get at taps once in the bath, which was particularly deep and could be dangerous for less able. Suggest remove bath and have single shower cubicle. Some chairs would have been nice. No entertainment.
perfect for facilities that were good for us
building tired on the outside
Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
Outside decor very poor, gym equipment very badly maintained, and no music or TV working in gym as the digital signal had not been setup properly. Gardens and exterior need maintenance BIG TIME
The interior design and quality of the fitting was excellent and well done and very pleasant.
The room was housed in a completely rundown shabby block tucked behind the hotel service area and decidedly not the room I had expected.
The Riviera is quite stunning to look at, day or night. The illuminations certainly add an extra dimension to its art deco appearance, which i loved. The room was small but perfectly adequate and well stocked with tea coffee etc beds very comfortable and we slept well despite the storm outside that night!
The gardens could have been more attractive so that outside seating could be enjoyed, the exterior appearance of hotel close up badly needed redecorating and rooms were not cleaned to top standard....basically it just needs a "re-vamp". Still loved it though and would return.
Nice view and Great rooms. Good facilities.
Not very attractive outside. Could need refurbish outside and in the leisure area.
Great views. Contemporary design
Staff not ready for the wedding party! Rooms look nice but walls paper thin and pretty dirty. Uncomfortable bed no mattress topper either. No spoons for drinks. No toilet roll holder. It wouldn't take much to improve the overall standard. Reception dinner poor, chicken was very dry
small room ,no space for a chair, only able to open one small window,no window would open in bathroom and shower lukewarm.
The location was perfect as we love Bowleaze Cove. Breakfast was tasty. Our room was small but very comfortable. We slept well in the comfy beds and it was nice to have a bath with a shower. We would love to come back to the Riviera and have a room with a sea view.
Shabby areas at the back of the hotel where we stayed were a disappointment as the front of the hotel was smart and fresh.
the overall appearance of the hotel our cute little room, the indoor pool. The food in the restaurant was of a very good standard.
the early September weather was very warm .why wasn't the outdoor pool still open.
Old shack, dirty, cobwebs.... Not clean bathrooms. Breakfast awful.
Easy car parking. Excellent views. Helpful staff.
The outside of the hotel badly needed some fresh paint. Old metal steps to bedrooms with no covered way. Lack of towel rails and bath hand rail in bathroom. No evening entertainment.
The hotel was beautiful, very clean room, excellent food and a beautiful sea view.
lovely location, excellent view of the bay, friendly staff, nice spa area.
bedroom had not been hoovered, skirting boards dirty, bed mattress needs updating,no chairs in bedroom, just needs some attention to detail.
