No hot water for my shower. Didn't like the fact I had to walk past the dinning room to get to the leisure facilities. Sauna was far too small.

Great location and lovely views. Room had been refurbished well.

the location and the cleanliness of the general complex area. short walk to the beach and out of town so not so noisy.

lack of an a la carte menu during the week and not being informed, open walk ways and metal stairs. cigarette ends strewn across the grass.

I had a first class experience at the Riviera hotel, All the staff were cheerful, efficient and approachable, nothing was too much trouble, food was plentiful and tasty, and the bar prices reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by my room, extremely well decorated and furnished in a modern white high gloss style it had a little fridge, spacious mirrored wardrobe, big tv, and the single bed, even though I'm used to a double was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. Loved the electric shower, I also enjoyed the indoor pool and steam room, The grounds were lovely with lots of little places to explore and hide away undisturbed and the location was stunning! beautiful countryside and crashing waves, bus stop just a short distance from the hotel, or a 30-ish minute walk along the beach or coast road to the Esplanade. Will be staying here again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with good facilities

We were very pleasantly surprised, the inside was very calm friendly and relaxing. Good friendly service and attention from staff was excellent.

We did feel more staff were needed. Staff were put under enormous pressure to cope with influx of people arriving and only one person on reception, but they were very professional at all times.

I loved the food it was presented and tasted wonderful and great value for money . Everything was clean. Service in the restrant was very good .

Younger members of staff seemed very evasive when wanting to be served at reception and there was no seat in the bedroom .

My son and i stayed at the Riviera for one night as we were camping and we stayed as my son needed a night in a proper room. The staff were friendly and we were properly catered for.

Location - away from the maddening central Weymouth crowd, seaview, spacious grounds, very clean.

Staff were clearly overwhelmed - queues to check in, queues for breakfast - this is the first time in my life I have had to do that. It was a long weekend but if you know you are fully booked add resources accordingly.

Disorganised breakfast arrangement caused by overbooking with too many guests. Appears a popular venue for parties but with no consideration for other guests kept awake to 0100 am.hotel response " that it was a wedding"

The hi di hi feel about the place , the hole place looked like a giant swimming pool

The outside belies the quality on the quality on the inside. The refurbishment of the interior is excellent. The location and views from the rooms is superb.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Riviera Hotel. Arrived early and parked up, greeted by Rob, who was very friendly and informative and assured us it was OK to leave the car for the day.Walked into Weymouth along the beach and checked in on our return at 5pm.Our room was spacious, fresh, clean and modern. A large flat screen TV with free view perfectly placed on the wall to watch from the very comfortable bed with its crisp white bed linen. We had a modern en suite shower room with good bath products. There was a great selection of tea and coffee and plenty of it. We also had a fridge and lovely wine glasses, tall and short tumblers, so nice to have the right glass for your pre dinner drinks. Small touch but appreciated by us. The views from the room were stunning across Weymouth and Portland, this hotel has a enviable position. We received exceptional customer service from Gary Young, Carol Rook and Rod who were all friendly, efficient and accommodating. Thank you all for a lovely stay.
