Het Riviera Hotel heeft een rustige locatie en kijkt uit over de bomen van Alum Chine naar de baai. The staff were very helpful and friendly, really good value for money considering the time of year. The breakfast was excellent! For a family hotel we certainly enjoyed our stay as a young couple and it was only a short taxi journey into town. Top notch! Limited parking spaces at the front of the hotel as an event was on. Which then lead to my car being moved to what must have been a seagulls nest!

Staff were very friendly and cheerful. Had slight problem with my room and was moved immediatly - didnt have evening meal but the breakfast was very nice.

Location and facilities are good . we felt comfortable there.rooms were spacious. A bit over priced for the star rating our shower didnt work well and it was noisy at night with people standing outside the hotel shouting keeping us awake.

The Breakfast was very good even though they forgot to give us toast and they wouldn't serve us hot chocolate even though they had sachets in the rooms...well, one sachet per room It was horrible! The room smelt musty and had peeling wallpaper, mould on windows and wallpaper, chairs and carpet stained ant the window whistled all night and curtains blew as it was not fitted properly. It was difficult to get to and from the room with bags along twisty corridors with stairs and the dated feel to the rooms made the journey upsetting. It says that many rooms had sea view but it was not near the sea, but upa small street with very little parking for the hotel...just a few bays at the front and taxis and coaches blocked us in as they parked on the road in front of bays. A terrible place to stay, even with the nice breakfast!

only 3 minuet walk to the beach where there is a nice bar, entertainment was good at night time and breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. rooms a little small including bed decor could do with updating and cctv of the swimming pool on screen for all to see in the reception.

The location is good, staff friendly and the room was clean. We were two couples staying in the area for a family celebration, and checked in on the Saturday evening after the lunchtime event which was held elsewhere. We wanted a light supper - no room in the restaurant, and there was a loud disco in the bar. Not relaxing, which was the whole point of not driving home after the family event.

The staff were fantastic, so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The menu and presentation of the food was excellent and good value for money. Over all excellent value, really enjoyed staying here

Great value for money as it's so close to the beach and the town. Very polite staff and lovely food. Bournemouth is such an interesting area with lots of interesting places to discover. The Breakfast was a little early.

A nice and freindly hotel with the staff very polite. The barman on Sunday was used for other purposes and felt it unprofessional to approach the reception everytime someone wanted a drink from the bar and that was not just us.

Responsiveness and friendliness of the staff. Attention to detail in the bedroom care. Roof light in the bathroom. Disappointed with the indoor pool. Variety of the restaurant menu was limited. Immediate environment of the hotel was disappointing. When booking, I tried more than once to phone the hotel during February and failed to get a response.

Value for money, staff very helpful and responsive to maintenance request. Breakfast was very good. Pleasant location, quiet and residential. Pool, sauna and Jacuzzi were pleasant and a bonus. Stayed in apartments building which was very good. No stairs from main hotel to apartments, only a lift which was busy at times.

We choose this hotel because we had to catch the ferry early the next morning from Poole and you came up with this hotel which had a big reduction for our overnight stay. The room was really excellent, very spacious, tastefully furnshed, comfortable beds and lovely warm.

Great location, very clean room, upgraded to a room with a sea view which was great. I'm afraid the breakfast was disappointing. The cooked breakfast didn't look appetising and I just found the pastries greasy. The toast was not warm. It was a shame because the room was so clean and comfortable but I didn't enjoy the breakfast and had been looking forward to it.

It was only 2 minutes to the restaurant that we were having a birthday celebration dinner at. Very handy. I found it a very nice place to stay and enjoyed it.

The room was always made clean and tidy and the towels changed daily. The breakfasts were very good with lots of choice, the food trays being topped up regularly. The staff were very professional yet very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They went out of their way to assist and I would definately recommend and return to this hotel.

The staff-particularly reception-were extremely helpful and friendly, they really did seem to care that you enjoyed your stay. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety to choose from and the quality was good. The hotel room at night was very warm despite the radiator being off and the window open.

Good location for beach and town centre. Comfortable and clean room with comfortable bed. Bar and reception staff friendly. I advised them in advance that it was my partner's birthday surprise treat and they very kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony and sea view which was nice. Dogs are welcome although there are restrictions which after explaining our situation they very kindly relaxed but beware. The hotel didn't quite live up to my expectations but it is ok although the swimming pool/spa facilities are rather disappointing as they are shabby and dirty looking. Dogs are welcome but beware of the restrictions imposed such as not leaving the dog alone in the room even at meal times when they have to be put in the car.
