This impressive 19th-century building is relaxed and friendly, with superb sea views. It is within an hour of the Lake District and a short trip from Barrow in Furness and Ulverston.
With a unique location on Roa Island, the house is on the water's edge at Morecambe Bay. There is a garden with superb views of the Bay and Piel Island.
All rooms at Roa Island House have a flat-screen digital TV and hospitality tray.
Enjoy a full English breakfast in the dining room or conservatory, with striking sea views.
The Sea View Cafe is open for lunch, with packed lunches also available. The Evening Menu has options for vegetarians and children. The house is licensed to serve alcohol.
Facilities also include a very cosy TV lounge, with a log burner and Nintendo Wii console. An outstanding feature is the tower room, a lounge area with spectacular views over Morecambe Bay.
