Iliked that we were put to the quietest part of the building
Staff did their utmost and were friendly
Beds were uncomfortable and the food was worse than school dinners.
The great value for money.super evening meal and breakfast!!!!!
the very thin duvet and flat pillows.
the place is great
no public transport to get bk to stirling on a sunday poor
Value was excellent, rooms basic but okay for the money, entertainment was superb and meal was outstanding for the money, especially loved the little table for 4 because last time i visited the hotel we were at a table for 10 which wasn't so cosy but all in all we had a fantastic night
the disabled facilities could be a lot better as my mum was in a wheelchair and had to actually walk a little before getting back into the chair, plus disabled room was about half a mile almost down the corridor which had doors to open on the way to our room, finally the breakfast was so disspointing with having to ask continually for more orange juice/sausages/bacon and i never once saw a fried egg which was a disgrace although there were scrambled eggs, did i see any fresh fruit ....noooo nothing there so i feel the breakfast was very dissapointing
staff friendly and very helpful. Location was good and plenty of parking spaces breakfast a bit of hit or miss
as I cannot take milk I was unable to have cereal as there was no yogurt. there was no fresh fruit although it was on the menu and no prunes or grapefruit which I could have put on my cereal
The staff is friendly, good quality of service!

very helpful staff
Convenient location for our purposes

Handy location, friendly staff.
Accommodation very basic, not comfortable.
Bathroom and shower were newly refurbished. Packed lunch provided instead of breakfast.
Noise from other residents at all hours of the night. Appeared very run down and in need of complete refurbishment.
everything was as expected on our stay from the welcome on arrival to departure. We have stayed here many times in the past and always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the setting. I would like to also mention the lovely lady by the name of Anne who was on reception in the evening of Sat 27th. We arrived by bus from Glasgow not knowing that the bus returning on the sunday had been withdrawn. She arranged for a taxi to take us to Balfron for the connecting bus to Glasgow . There was a bit of doubt as to whether we would get taxi on time due to Ryder Cup and she very kindly offered the services of her husband for next morning . However we got taxi and didn't get the chance to say a further " thankyou " to her. " Above and Beyond " as the saying goes. So please pass on our message to her - a valued member of your staff.
The only blip on our visit this time was the fact we had tried to book for the dinner dance and overnight stay only to be told it was fully booked. We finally decided to take the option of bed and breakfast and thought we could enjoy the entertainment from the lounge area. However after a walk to the village where we had a lovely dinner at the Forth Hotel we made our way back and went down to lounge area later in the night only to find there was no entertainment on and hardly any guests at all. we thought this strange but as we had a lovely day we just had few drinks and retired for the night.
Everything from location to the brilliant service ! Will definitely go back lots of changes since our last visit some years ago !
Just the pillows !
Staff were lovely and arranged a pack lunch for us for breakfast as we were leaving early for the golf.
The smell in the corridors.
Not a lot.
Could not get a meal after 20-30 hours.
The bed was very comfy and the shower room was very clean.
The seat on the chair in the room was badly torn. The paintwork in the room was of a poor standard.
