Rob Roy Hotel  

Rooms very comfortable. Good breakfast and evening meal. Friendly attentive staff, especially in the dining room.

Outside appearance. Untidy. Not inviting to the passing visitor. Cut the grass and whitewash the walls.

The staff were good and the food was very good

The hotel appearance was drab, the room was below par, the bed was uncomfortable and the decorating materials stored below stairs was unsightly

Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, daily cleaning was very limited, no fridge in the room. Would have been nice to have some fruit for breakfast.

As an ex hotel manager I enjoyed the location and the friendly staff, they place needs a good refurb and is a bit depressing however I only used it to sleep and eat in, the bar menu is so much better than the dinner menu and I suggest they change it, breakfast was fantastic, and I was very happy staying there however if you name the hotel after Rob Roy then I do suggest having more info on him and the area in the hotel, the leaflets were not enough

Bed was mean to be a king size however it was 2 singles pushed together and I ended up with a sore back because they didn't join properly. Dinner menu at night was very disappointing, bar menu was better cooked and better portions

A bit noisy from other residents at night and early morning.

It was great location for walks and day trips to callender. Food was lovely rooms very comfortable and staff very friendly. Very good value for money .

Long way to walk to room!

What is not to like ? The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked. We have stayed at the Rob Roy many times and recomended our friends to stay. willbe back on Sept with a party of 30 to 40 for 4 nights Kind regards Pat and Charlie Smith

some friendly and helpful staff..although bar staff could be a wee bit cheerier...all in all we had a great weekend stay with family and friends and made us feel very welcome..would defo go back again.

none of our group had anything to complain about..we had a brill weekend at the rob roy.

I liked the bed size. I liked the ability to regulate heat at all times. Roomsize It was clean

The food and service from the catering staff was excellent very efficient and polite and friendly

Your receptionist was not very friendly we had arrived a little early and she would not let us check in even although all the keys were there ready she made us go back out of the hotel and go into the town not a good way to start off my stay and also the matress needs replaced in room 61

Room was clean and comfortable staff were very friendly both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

The grounds and the hotel needs a bit of TLC.

We only stayed one night as guests at Golden Wedding aniversary. The hotel was excellent.

The only complaint was all the ice in the car park.
