The quality of the food in the restaurant far exceded my expectations. I overheard a couple of customers, who had walked in from the street, say how lucky they were to have found this lovely restaurant. The hotels position was excellent, particularly in view of the fact that we were going to the Albert Hall. The staff in reception were not over friendly. Also the restaurant was scheduled to open at 6pm. When my wife and arrived at 6:05pm there were no staff in site so we had to visit reception to summon someone. |

Very happy with service provided, room was clean, plenty of tea and coffee. Neighbouring room air conditioning still rattling away at 2 am, while they were out. I rang night porter, who sorted out the problem immediately. |

i liked the facts that it was conveniently placed and had pleasant decor. i liked the balcony; looked nice from outside didn't understand how to adjust the air-con. nowhere to put used tea bags, and plugging in kettle was inconvenient and slightly dangerous. breakfast expensive. |

The hotel was,for our concert that night just what we wanted, and more very, very close to the Royal Abert Hall. The only fault was that we dinned at 6.00(opening time of the restaurant )only to find one waiter on duty, who was pushed to his limit with the amount of dinners, just made it to the concert, and on return at 10.55pm to be told the bar was closing at 11.00pm but this is not a complaint as the hotel room a junior suite was superb and totaly out wayed this minor problem we really enjoyed our stay |

Ideal location for our visit to the The Royal Albert Hall, also well located for access to museums and Hyde Park Unfriendly and unhelpful staff, room decor very tired and poorly maintained. As this is not a cheap hotel, leaves much to be desired. |

We really enjoyed the hotel atmosphear and the central position close to the gates of Kensington Gardens. Availability of internet connection schould be better and free. Dressing gowns should be available. |

Convenient to the Albert Hall A high percentage of the guests staying that night were attending a concert in the Albert Hall. The concert finished around 10.40pm and on returning to the hotel the bar was just closing. If the receptionist had not intervened at least 12 to 15 of the hotel guests would have gone without a drink. |

Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed. Receptionist very professional, she offered us helpful advice. The Retaurant did not cater for people wanting to eat before going to a show as it didn't open until 6.00pm. We ordered chicken burger and chips for quickness at 6.05pm, it arrived at 6.55pm, our show started at 7.30pm. There weren't any tea/coffee making facilities or toiletries other than a bar of soap and shower cap in our room. |

Proximity to Royal Albert Hotel. Size of room was OK and comfort of bed. Nice clean towels. Decor was extremely dated. Very old TV with poor picture quality and few channel choices. Would not normally use TV on holiday but no bars / pubs in immediate vacinity. TV cabinet doors did not stay open. Some surfaces were very dusty. Was only provided with shampoo not shower gel. Asked for it but never came. Dated bathroom. Very small cramped bath and shower in poor state. |

Spacious comfortable room with en-swuite. Helpful polite staff. We used room service one night and enjoyed a good value club sandwich but could not obtain a pot of tea, which I think was on the menu. We were asked to make our own which left us short in the morning. |

The location was ideal for the museums, Royal albert Hall and easy access to the city by tube. No concessions for parking and breakfast too pricey. |

We were upgraded to a suite which seems to be a fairly common occurrence. The room was perfect. Although the decor could be said to be old-fashioned, it was in keeping with the style of the building and was very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant which was perfectly adequate and reasonably priced. Hotel ideally situated for the Royal Albert Hall. |

We were very pleased with the hotel especially as we also got upgraded to an apartment free of charge, we did not choose to have breakfast a £12.50 per head as we could eat cheaper elsewhere but the hotel was clean and good value for the area and being close to the Royal Albert Hall for concerts. |
