Great sea and river views. Friendly efficient staff. Warm and comfortable room.
Helpful, attentive staff
Thick black mould half way up the walls in the shower - came off easily enough when blasted with water, so just needed a darn good clean
Nice hotel in brilliant location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
The window in our room didn't open so was stuffy.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food was good with good sized portions. Bar well stocked and with two local draught beers.
All the staff were friendly. The view from our room no 6 was good, east along the coast from the other window view along the river
No real issues
Staff very friendly and efficient. Small attractive restaurant with good sea views. Excellent food.
Non opening windows in bedroom.
Excellent location, ideally placed for the town. Breakfast particularly good
No wifi! Couldn't check out when I wanted ...

Location,staff,beer garden,breakfasts,views,lovely rooms.
Dogs being allowed in hotel. We had a yappy dog that was left in the room next door which was very annoying, which was a shame, because otherwise it would have been a perfect stay.
Staff were excellent did everything to make my more enjoyable
Menu not as extensive as last year, limited choice.
Our bedroom between the bar and the toilets downstairs.

no telephone in room also no toiletries ( Shampoo etc )
Warm welcome. Cozy and nicely decorated room although a bit small, but compesated by a beautiful view of the beach. Outdoor garden with eating facilities. Nice and quiet away from the noise of the bigger cities.
Everything was perfect - no bad experiences at all
Staff friendly, breakfast excellent and location beautiful. Parking was very good.
The location is amazing
We had a wonderful stay, all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable and a great full English to start the day.Looking forward to returning.
Car parking could get awkward
Will be returning
Excellent hotel with friendly caring staff and a superb restaurant. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden, savouring the Atmosphere & scenery whilst contemplating what to eat that night.
Parking was a little difficult otherwise there was nothing to dislike.
The staff, the surroundings, and the general service of the people there.
Both myself and my wife were disappointed with the evening meals. Largely good but my wife had the special curry one night and found it dry and I had Lamb on another evening which was had to cut and very chewy. The breakfasts I cannot fault.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
Wifi did not work in my room, I could only pick it up in the bar or reception.
Location and staff were excellent - right opposite the harbour front and linked by its own bridge. The breakfast was generous and well cooked. Dinners also were good quality and value with nice presentation.
we were all very impressed with the attitude and friendly staff and the accommodation and would definitely recommend the rock house
