Friendly staff, good central position for my needs and I liked having the ground coffee and cafetiere in my room. The noise from the road and revellers late at night. The heating was not turned on at all - it would have been more inviting to have it a bit warmer on entry. |

The location was good. It had parking facility right outside. It was small and friendly. food was very good especially the breakfast. I liked having a vegetarian option. The room was small, thre was no lift so it was a long haul up tyo the 3rd floor with a suitcase. The hotel looks like it is having a makeover. Once the reception and staircases are done it will look very welcoming.* |

shower, quietness having it assumed I would carry my luggage up one flight; room was very small and bedspread ugly, being charged for internet, calling for a taxi the morning of my meeting and being told it would be there in 10 minutes and it took 25 minutes |

friendly staff - as i was travelling with my labrador, they gave me an up-grade (single to double room). Unlike many hotels, I did not have to pay an extra charge for the dog. My room was very nice, although located next to the kitchen on the ground floor, so very noisy in the early morning. Room was clean and nicely appointed and furnished. The public areas, however, were a little shabby. My daughter is at university in Bristol and so I will return to this hotel (but request a different room). |

The staff were friendly, helpful, and (almost invariably) efficient. The location is convenient for the city centre and for local amenities. The room was too warm, even with the window open and the kindly-supplied fan on. |

Excellent hotel, great location in the Clifton Village. Close to everything in the city, great classic rooms, well lit and renovated yet maintaining classic elements. Rooms were brilliant, classy, very clean and hotel staff was top-notch...with info, with help...definitely went the extra mile to help out a newbie to town. |

Adequate room for a short stay, close for sightseeing around bristol. Too many stairs! We were on the top floor and final staircase is extreemly small, difficult carrying luggage up. |

Although classified as executive single room and the facilities good, the room was on the top floor with the last stair case being very narrow, steep and twisty. Also buttress directly outside which cut off view. Probably very good value for money if on a lower floor. Buffet breakfast over priced |

Co-operativeness of reception staff. Lounge bar facilities. Central location in Clifton village. Proximity to our desired location. Very poor and expensive parking arrangements. Having been allocated a parking space (and paid for it) this was forfeited the moment we moved from it. A major negative. |

Good location, extremely helpful staff, clean room with adequate facillities. Room was very noisy due to basement location below wooden floor music from above. Perhaps this was just bad luck with the room! |

The hotel is ideally situated for Clifton Village and Bristol city centre, parking was flawlessly arranged outside the hotel. Once inside I found the hotel to be clean, modern and very well presented. |
