Rodney Hotel  

Excellent comfy room with extra pillows etc in wardrobe, fruit in rooms, excellent seletion of beverages in room, mini bar, soap and tissues, dvd player, excellent breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely decor with art works. Very nice garden.

No lift, poor parking arrangements (although this was made clear in advertising and I got a space and decided to abandon the car there for the weekend) and the bedroom was incredibly hot and not recified by having window wide open.

V. friendly staff, good breakfast, nice shower! Room was good generally.

Had to remake my bed as the sheet was the wrong way around - feet popped out the end! Sheet/blanket/bedspread very awkward in a single bed up against the wall - duvet would have been more comfy and easier to deal with.

The location was great for exploring Clifton, and the staff were absolutely divine. The garden is lovely, the breakfast delicious and affordable. Overall it was a lovely stay; although I do have some negatives, I'd recommend the Rodney to friends and family.

The bathroom had just been painted and had quite a strong smell, as well as a shower that didn't quite work properly. The double bed was small as well.

Noise outside window people doing laundry when trying to sleep after night work got about 2 hours sleep,,, and shower was small had to crouch down

Comfortable hotel, ideal for visiting the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton Village. I arrived in the city by train, and then took the number 8 bus right outside Temple Meads Station. This took me to very near the hotel in Clifton Village.

Staff were excellent - efficient friendly and very helpful. Restaurant- very good food. Room was very comfortable - good use of available space. Enjoyed the naming of the rooms.

Noise at the front. Cannot be helped in such an old building given planning laws, but taxi rank opposite was a bit trying.

In the nicest area of town (Clifton). Close to the nightlife and the sights.

Possibly a bit of faded grandeur in the decor.

Had long wait for evening meal, but understood that ratio of diners to waitresses was lower than usual. Meal was excellent.Parking a nightmare!

The room had chips of glass on the floor not very well cleaned.there was a bad smell of the drains .could not open window as it was taped up.on the last night room access card did not work

The staff members were very helpful.

The facilities in the room were excellent & I liked the opportunity to up grade to a double. The Grade II features have been tastefully restored and retained. Food was excellent.

My room, No. 5, although spacious and clean suffered from disturbance as it was adjacent to the staff office and staff were entering and leaving constantly.

We were in room no1. Extractor fan in morning could not cope and there was a slight smell of drains. Think you ought to re word your web site re parking. If everybody booking in had a car there would not have been enough spaces. It was " ample parking ,no need to book" attracted us
