Friendly owners and staff. Spacious and comfortable room. Good location near downtown. Everything we were looking for.

Exceptionally nice Guest House with lovely backyard. Easy walk to get to the center of Salisbury. Breakfast was very nice in a beautiful setting.

Parking is limited.

Location was ideal for the city centre and it was a lovely old house. Breakfast was excellent. Private off street parking was a bonus although needed some careful manoeuvring into tight position.

We are used to friendly and helpful hosts with a willingness to have "a bit of a chat". This didn't happen here although this may have been because relieving people were running it while the hosts were away.

No adequate shelving in En-suite. Had to use narrow windowsill Shower very unpredictable almost scalded me then freeze! Unable to pay by visa despite website information

We can highly recommend Rokeby B and B, a lovely older home, if you stay at Salisbury. Karen and Mark give a very warm welcome and ensure everything is of a very high standard. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The eating areas are a delight and match the excellent breakfast. Salisbury is a relatively short walk away and the restaurants in the main square are very good. If visiting the Cathedral, take a tour of the steeple. Well worth the time, as is a visit to the nearby Old Sarum.

Room 11 in the basement has very noisey plumbing and noise from floor above is a real issue. Kithen is on the floor above and a problem at 6.35am. Limited parking - had to park of road.

Friendly, helpful owners. Free parking. Beautiful extensive gardens. Large comfortable and airy rooms and everything spotlessly clean. Position of 5 minute walk from the centre of town was ideal as didn't have to move the cars. Would definitely use again.

I was in a room with a large bathroom but which contained a claw feet double ended bath in the middle of the room. Lovely for a bath but using the shower over the bath was not the most comfortable and there was nowhere to put shower gel/shampoo etc.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms immaculate and tastefully decorated. Excellent choice of menu for breakfast. Lovely well kept historic house full of charm & character. In the room was a brochure in which Karen & Mark gave us the history behind the guest house which made for interesting reading. Information was given freely & readily which helped us find various locations. Enjoyed our stay enormously. Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Just 2 very minor points 1) We would of liked to have been supplied with hand towels as well as bath towels.Although. I am sure we would of got some had we asked. 2) From a health and safety point of view - did not like the small glass shelf above the sink.Very easy to bang your head on it. Very minor points as I have said.

We have late check-in and they gave us clear instructions how to get to the room. There were an announcement on the door about not accepting credit cards, but fortunately they accept Visa and MasterCard.

We stayed for two days only and toast for breakfast was moldy each day.

I was in the attic room, where I needed to duck under the rafters to reach the toilet. Not a big problem as I was warned. The room was also compact.

Being given the top story when booked in for three nights w /o lifts to carry luggage up steep stairs.Rooms a bit dark and gloomy. The code system for getting to the place at night . Prefer keys.

We both enjoyed everything about our stay at the rokeby guest house, the owners could not do enough for us from when we arrived till the moment we left, from providing us with secure parking, helping with bags, even to the point of catering for a wholesome vegetarian breakfast to set us up for a day of sightseeing. I would recommend this guest house every time and will definitely visit again if next in Salisbury.

Our room was in the basement where the flush in our toilet was very noisy due to it being a below ground level room. It was very loud even when the tap was run. For breakfast we asked if we could have some cheese and ham as well as our breakfast and we were told "no". I don't think that it was an unreasonable request and its would have been nice to see this happen.

The landlord/landlady were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful without overt intrusion on one's privacy. Excellent breakfast and well appointed rooms. Rokeby will be top of my list the next time we're in the Salisbury area.

Pillows were foam in texture which become hard after continual usage. Offering an option of feather,or as befits the standard of the premises, down/feather pillows would add that extra touch of luxury.

The bathroom was enormous and our bed was exceptionally comfortable. Plenty of space in the room, decent location with a 10 minute walk to the downtown/Cathedral area. The host even arranged the taxi services we needed to/from our tour at Stonehenge. Great menu for breakfast and the fruit bar was always fresh. Extremely professional customer service.

There wasn't anywhere in the shower to put any of my toiletries as it was a claw foot tub. The shower head hung very low as well so if you are taller than 5' 10" or so (6' 1" here) you will need to crouch a lot which can get uncomfortable. Other than that it was impeccable.

Everything - Rooms, Meals, Beds, Hosts were all beyond expectations.

Easy walk into town. Bedroom comfy. Breakfast comprehensive in a wonderful conservatory. Interesting house and owners provided some history of the building. Would go again.
