On arrival we were upgraded from the lodge into the hotel complex. A room, although on the lower ground floor was ideal for our romantic getaway. Had a very nice meal in the Thai restaurant. Noisy people in rooms opposite ours, which hotel staff quickly put a stop too. |

The room i was given was a upgrade, a single bed room too a four poster bed which was frantastic. The lodge was close to the best western, but more info where to book in should be stated clear on website. |

Very large room, quiet, nice view over the sea. Excellent buffet breakfast. No information given about where to book in. We were unable to get in the hotel at 11.15pm. Made enquiries at Best Western Hotel next door, and they had the keys. Guests should be notified to report to Reception at Best Western Roker Park, or notice on the hotel door. |

Being upgraded from the Lodge, on a cut-price package, was excellent. The Hotel was great and the breakfast excellent. We were in Room 137 which was fine in itself, but a bit noisy outside and next door on a Friday evening. |

Very warm welcome, friendly staff, food excellent, room very good.. Will return. Stayed in Roker Lodge. We felt the front entrance should be lit up in darkness, the steps are steep for the elderly. This is not specifically a complaint but a helpful suggestion to assist safety. |

Only one complaint the room at roker lodge was not up to standard not very clean empty gin bottle under bed no soap in room ect very clean towels and bedding main hotel was excelent.... see above |

I didnt stay at the Roker Lodge. The outside did not impress me, so I changed my booking to the Roker Hotel. My reveiw on this hotel is below The first room I was given was along a very long corridoe and down 2 flights of stairs. The receptionists could see I was disabled with a walking stick but did not take this into account. I room (133) was very small with no window, is that legal? The Hotel was Very Noisy at night early hours ie 2.20 am on two of my 3 nights including a Disco on the 2nd night. I did mention this to Reception to be told "she wasnt on duty that night" |
