Lovely full English breakfast, no cost options for other choices. Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Bar reasonably well stocked and not overpriced.
Breakfast and friendly staff. It is a basic hotel but at a cheap price. Ideal for tradesmen looking for cheap accomodation
Thin walls and grubby shared shower and toilet. Needed my earplugs because of loud coughing from man in next room.
Friendly helpful staff Excellent breakfast Car parking facility
Very complicated TV operation instructions Kettle power did not operate until about 9.00 pm.
Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast served from 6.45, good wifi, 24-hour reception, short walk to centre of Erdington.
Sometimes cold in the room, heating not always on.
excellent food, good atmosphere
Bed could be a bit more comfortable
Food and staff very nice
Workers digs ... outdated...need of complete refurbishment all rooms smell of fags.
A friendly hotel, with rooms which are good for the price. Best value for Birmingham. The Breakfast was excellent, and served in a clean dining room. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel location provided easy access to the city and motorway network.
I did not like anything in there
everything was very dirry
Excellent location for a night out
Price and friendliness of staff as well as a great Full English in the morning included in the already very reasonable price.
Shower would only work in room if I did not lift any higher than 3ft also towels smelt of cigarette smoke.
Lack of evening catering at wk'ends
Friendly atmosphere, rooms great for the price, so best value for Birmingham. the meals were excelent, great taste, enough to eat, dining room clean, in fact everywhere looked clean, even has matress protectors. the staff were very helpful, and the hotel was well located for our family, and the German Market.
Can not think of a thing......
Price. Friendly people. Great service
Not the most swish of places
Location, breakfast, clean
Clearly not enough staff to manage the busy weekend they had or enough breakfast supplies! We were lucky and got the last English brekkie!
Everything was perfect great value for money
Staff were fine, especially the receptionist when I first arrived. The poor breakfast staff were so rushed off their feet, they weren't very attentive - but it's because they had so many guests to cater for, and not many staff members. they were never impolite.
When I went to use to bathroom (the rooms on my floor were not ensuite) there was a shocking lack of hygiene and dirty towels lay on the floor. The toilet hadn't been flushed (though that isn't the management's fault). The scariest thing was that I accidentally went to the wrong room when I came out of the bathroom - instead of opening the door to my room, I had a mind blank and went to the door just before mine. As I realised it wasn't my room (none of my things were there), it also dawned on me that the KEYS for MY ROOM had easily opened the door to a completely different room!!! Which meant anyone could probably do the same with their own keys, with any other door. Thankfully the room I accidentally went to was vacant, no guests staying there. But I felt uncomfortable all night, knowing there was no safety on the lock of my door. Breakfast was good I must say - but dirty, badly washed cutlery was really off putting. I had to get a glass of hot water to wash the cutlery myself at my table. I understand it was a very cheap rate, so I don't think it's fair to expect too much. But basic cleanliness and safety on door locks, I do expect.
The price. Very reasonable, and excellent value for money. Great staff, who together with some regulars made me enjoy myself in the hotel bar, Breakfast also good.
Everything, the room was dirty and shabby. The tread on the stairs leading to the room were too small to step correctly on. The staff couldn't be bothered. Room was not cleaned daily. Bed too short in length and uncomfortable. Bedding very poor
EXCELLENT AND PLEASANT CUSTOMER SERVICE, COMFORTABLE ROOMS, GOOD LOCATIONS. I REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE HOTEL. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT WAKING UP LATE THE HOT WATER WAS ALREADY USED UP AND COULD NOT TAKE MY BATH AND HAD TO RUSH OUT
Meal in resturant was very good
Very little hot water Showers not good enough

Noise in the middle of the night
MOST THINGS I HAVE STAYED THERE SEVERAL TIMES
the hotel had a homely feel and the staff were friendly and lively, it was easy to find from the bus stop and was clean and tidy. i felt welcome and had a good night sleep.
there was no soap in the toilets and the stairs to the second floor were rather steep, food wasn't available but the staff gave us take away menus, phone signal wasn't good.
WiFi Food(Breakfast included) Friendly Staff Room accessories (TV,Radio,Hairdryer)
Noisy guests in adjoining room at 2:30 am waking me.
