I did not like that I found dirty tissue's in the draw's of my room and that the curtains was falling off the rail the shower did not work there for I could not shower the breakfast was very poor and cold there was dust on the skirting boards and I could not lock my door from the inside of the room which made me feel very uncomfortable I would never stay at this hotel again and I would never recommend it to any one the rooms was small could not move around them .

Nothing at all, the only good thing about this hotel was its location close to the pleasure beach. Cheap, dirty rooms. This hotel was a shambles, The beer wasnt on draught it was cans, which in itself is ok but at £2.50 a can the price was out ragous. T hey had shoe horned an extrs bed in the bedroom for my young daughter so the tea making things were put into the bathroom. There was a fire in the early hours of the first night and the way it was handled was a compleate shambles, I would also like to know why guests had to call the fire service as the alams didnt go off. That in itself is very worring. I would strongly recommend that no one stays in this hotel, after emailing the hotel itself they havent even bothered to reply.

The hotel is clean, bright our room was a big family room and the breakfast was nice and hot. I would stay at the roker hotel again and would recommend it to others

staff seemed friendly a chap that works/owns the hotel claims to be from sicily yet did not cook my pasta penne the italian was, tasted like dolmio sauce from a jar, was nice just expected better and my girlfriends bruschetta was not up to the expectation i had i mind, though we are not ones to fuss and was a nice meal, if you want to stop away and enjoy long walks this place is about a 20minute walk from central pier however is right next to the pleasure beach and waterpark.

Wonderfully friendly staff, the owner was lovely, very obliging. We had everything we needed, anything we ran out of was immediately replenished. Where else can you get huge full English breakfast, free parking, great location, ensuite shower and toilet, tea and coffee making facilities and TV with freeview for this price?! Picky silly complaints drive me mad - if you want a four star accom, pay for it!

The breakfast was really nice, which was a surprise. The beds were really cosy and the room was clean. The fact it was close to the Please Beach Amusement Park was a bonus. One of the light bulbs had gone in the mains light (couldn't be bothered to report it) but the other lights were working and provided plenty of light. There was only one bin in the bathroom. One in the main room would have been nice. The car parking outside wasn't great and you had to ask for a packing space that would have prevented a car blocking you in. In fact, my brothers car recieved a dent while someone was reversing out, although that was because he was reversing out too fast.

The location of the hotel as it was near the plesure beach . The lack of comunication between the staff ,my brother in law took us and booked himself a room for the first night, he was quoted one price and when he arrived the young girls on front desk gave him another price and they had the wrong details for him. Also we were given different breakfast times on 3 different occasions ranging from 9.30-10.30 on day one,8.30-10.15 Day two and then the owner told me (well he had an argument with me) that we were not to be late for breakfast as we would nt be served and when I explained that we were told breakfast was served between those times he went completly ballistic ,and told me that he was the ruler and was in charge and what he says goes....i was sooo cross by the way I was spoken to ,he said im arguing and im wrong and hes right and his word is final.

The staff were all very friendly we had a room with a sea view which was really a full bay window having stayed in other hotels saying sea view and having a port hole. Although hotel probably could do with a little updating it was clean and homely, breakfast very nice.

Its ok for a one or two night break...its a pity the rooms dont match whats on their billboard at the hotel front. It looks like a room out of a boutique hotel, however the two that we got were typical Blackpool guest houes...old tatty odd furniture and in need of a good makeover. Our window at the rear of the building hadnt been cleaned in ages but this was possibly a good thing as the view was dreadful. The next door hotel was being refurbed and the yards were full of rubbish and burst bin bags. The breakfast was really good...we didn't try their evening restaurant as we were only there for one night and we fancied a curry which we got two doors down...(Well recommended buffet service!) Stacks of hot water (a bonus!) and the heating kept the place nice and cosy. And there is free car parking which meant we didn't have to use a public one. All in all "ok"...But nothing changes much in Blackpool. Its about ten years since I was there. I won't go back to Blackpool again, but thats just my personal choice.

“Very good price. They give a quite big English breakfast included in the price. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The windows are very well isolated so there is no noise from outside. It is very close to Pleasure Beach (but far from the Blackpool Tower).” Jorge, London |
