Roman Rooms Hotel

Its not a hotel, it's a glorified (adequately clean) hostel.

I've rated fair on the staff above but in reality - there are none! It's like a hostel, but slightly better. The rooms were adequate, linen clean, TV, tea and coffee etc. Bathroom had a dribble shower that was barely warm, so bracing in the morning. The toilets had a macerator which was loud - and I could hear other room macerators working too. The B&B wasn't at all what I expected, it was like going to my own kitchen, getting my own uncooked breakfast and then had to do my own washing up! The layout of the 'hotel' is odd. There is no reception, you need bumber codes to get into the place....

Close proximity to the venue we were attending, but misleading directions via sat-nav.

Peace and quiet, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Didn't want to leave!

Problems with the water every time I willing to take a shower; Smell in hotel.

Perfect location for our needs. All the modern facilities (En-suite, tea/coffee making, tv, Free Wi-Fi). Interesting concept being unmanned, never seen it any where before, but it seems to work. (Apart from breakfast, see below).

Help your self breakfast ok but certain items not made available for our full stay, I.e Tea Cakes, Crumpets, etc. Although always plenty of bread. Jams and preserves in the fridge, some had mold in. We had a double room, with a double bed, but the quilts were two singles?? Our room (No.2) had fallen plaster off the wall beneath the window and paint coming of the ceiling. En-suite door very difficult to close and then the same when opening and extractor fan didn't work.

Främsta anledningen till att jag valde hotellet var priset. Jag tycker att jag fick ett bra boende med tanke på att det bara kostade 50 pund per natt för två personer. Det var inga problem att checka in trots att hotellet var obemannat, dock kräver det att man har en fungerande telefon. Wolverton har inte mycket att erbjuda men kanalen som flyter igenom är värd ett besök.

Den obemannade frukosten gick att äta men var ingen höjdare. Jag åt frukost sent och det var problem att hitta rent porslin. Duschen i mitt rum hade mycket lågt vattenflöde. På sätt och var det kanske bra eftersom att avloppet var ännu långsammare. Duschningen hade karaktären duggregn med fotbad.

The exterior not as website area very run down with rubbish dumped behind the building. The sink was cracked a hole in the wall however bed linen was clean. Coffee provided in the room but no spoon to put in the cup. The self-service kitchen was inadequate it smelled of bad drains and was unusable!!!!!!"!" My friends room was worse, the shower door wass hanging off the single bunk bed had a double mattress supported by an irining board. We had to laugh about it but it was an expensive joke.!!!!!
