The suite Spa bath Breakfast Peace and quiet Beautiful gardens
Z bed Spa facility (ie the pool) not available to children Staff at breakfast were hovering
Beautiful grounds and attentive service. Great venue for a wedding- it was a lovely day. Family room was spacious and very clean. Meals were well presented and lots of choice at breakfast.
Not all outdoor lighting was switched on and pathway to our room at the end of the evening was in darkness.
Nice hotel and gardens. Friendly staff.
Not a lot to do for under 16's. We have 2 teenagers both under 16 but they liked the tennis court. Pool facility for younger teens would have made the stay better for us. Traffic noise from motorway in gardens but couldn't hear it in the room.
It was a little walk from car park to bedrooms and no one there to porter cases etc, also the restaurant was a walk away, food and service only fair. No good if raining you would get wet walking between places. I would not stay again.
Lovely grounds and facilities.
Getting taxi,s was a nightmare.
Good location, clean and good food
TV didnot work, no or disturbed signal most of the time, did not have Wii Fii signal in the room, both of which were a major concern especially when staying in family room with children. Nine of the tables the drawers working well cannot open/ use the draws.
everything else all good.
ceiling needed painting
Staff were extremely helpful and customer focused. The free WIFI actually worked! Spa was a truly relaxing environment. Stunning Wedding venue with picture-perfect gardens/lake and waterfall Everything/everywhere was clean and well maintained. The breakfast sausages, best we've ever tasted!
Remote location, not much within reasonable walking distance. Predominantly set up for functions.
The gardens were well Kept and lovely to walk round. The setting was realy outstanding.
The dining room staff .. The barman was friendly.
A great place to unwind the out door jacuzzi is lovely to very good spa lovely staff!
The lack of motivation and knowledge of the staff. The spa's facilities were few and far between and what there was didn't work. Drinks expensive, bed and outside chairs were a torture.
Gardens, which were amazing, buildings, function rooms. The wwedding ran well.
Breakfast was probably the worst experienced in any hotel we've visited. Chicken terrine from the party was inedible. Bars were expensive and served mediocre products. Staff in general were very inexperienced and gave poor excuses when confronted. No brown bread for toast, grey scrambled eggs, cold mushrooms, bacon that had been cooked and kept warm for what seemed like hours. Sausage inedible.
Location as above, the setting was beautiful
We arrived there after a long drive on Saturday for a wedding on Sunday, the staff didnt seem to know what was happening - i.e. as there was a wedding that day, where food restaurant was? - as directions to it they gave, were wrong. When we eventually got there 10 minutes later it was 2 minutes past 2 and we were told that the restaurant was now closed. But the waitress said she would speak to chef. They were not warm and friendly. They said they would then do us a cheese melt so we sat down but then came back and said it would be at least 30 minutes which was no good for me, as I was going to golf. My wife stayed and did get served some time after. When I got back, the electrics in our room were not working, so I went to reception(this was about 7pm) but it was closed. I asked(think it was a manager) to come and have a look but they couldnt fix it, saying they would sort something out. We were still waiting the next day for it to be fixed and eventually referred to a nice blond haired lady at breakfast who did swap our room and sort things out for us and was very good. The original room was not cleaned properly as the mirror had not been cleaned, although this is being picky, but it isnt a cheap hotel and you really would expect more. Overall though a very poor experience.
Good location for M5 + Airport Clean + well equipped Lovely gardens Pleasant staff
Room had porthole windows and we needed light on to read in the daytime Breakfast v average - inedible scrambled eggs Why did we have to be subjected to loud, middle of the road, sentimental pop ballads at 8.00 in the morning in the breakfast area? Awful music
Great location, lovely grounds to walk around. Great food
Wifi wasn't working for 2 days - notified reception but nothing was done about it and the children couldn't use the outdoor hot tub in the spa
couldnt connect to wi-fi hairdryer didnt work some lights were out in the room which made it dark in some ares particularly over the mirror. no-one answered the telephone in reception on 5 occasions very poor
No wifi signal if your room is en-bloc. The restaurant service was so bad it was like Faulty Towers. Flat beer, no suitable food for kids, 15 minute wait for a table even though there was nobody eating. Joke
Brilliant stay. Spa lovely and friendly staff. Rooms cosy and comfortable.
Overpriced restaurant and not much selection of choice. Trying to be fancy but doesn't work.
The peace and quiet also the cleanliness of the whole place

Gardens and lake with lots of Interesting features and seating areas. Restaurant and food good.
Duvet too heavy for the hot weather.
The room, was small but that was expected, very comfortable and quiet. This wouldn't have been the case had it been a weekend and a wedding going on as we were right next to a marquee.
Lovely gardens but nowhere to sit outside for a drink, the bar was in the restaurant at the other end of the property. Booked in for dinner and asked for a beer before dining, told only one available as they'd got through a lot during a previous wedding. It was a birthday so we ordered sparkling wine, only to be told there wasn't any as it was very popular with weddings, offered champagne at £42 per bottle instead! For a hotel of this, supposed, quality I was amazed. Not what we expected.
Wife is good
The layout is all over the place. This is a wedding venue trying to be a hotel and fore me this doesn't work. This is a three star Hotels and four star wedding venue.
*Close to Burnham (where I needed to go).
*Difficult to open, close & lock doors. *Waiting 10 minutes for buffet breakfast to be refilled. * Have to locate Staff when checking in after 6pm as reception unattended. *Large flat screen TV obstructing passage passed foot of bed. *Piggery next door smells. *During Summer, cooling fan required.
The grounds The room Cleanliness of the room The helpful, friendliness of the staff and particularly the manager who went out of his way to be helpful and kind
