The grounds Breakfast stops too early - stops at 9:30, stained carpet, bathroom was full of flies, restaurant never opened during our stay |

Did not get chance to have a look round so unfair to comment There was no electrical point near the mirror for using hotbrush/straighteners, I had to ask reception for an extension but they could have been closed! |

Truffles Restaurant: excellent food but atmosphere stiff (and no bread plates). Lovely wedding gardens. Reception area = distant and we had trouble finding anyone to check us out in the morning. Odd thing about the restaurant: we were required to sit in waiting room and make our menu choices there before being seated in restaurant, even though only one other party was there. We found the decor & gardens were over-focused on wedding themes. |

Excellent grounds. Location good. Clean. Plenty of parking No bath robe or slippers. No night porter after 2300. Bathroom a bit on the small side. |

The staff were very helpful and pleasant We had some problems with the shower room it did not dry out and there seemed to be a damp patch on the wall. however when this was reported the staff were very helpful |

The grounds of the hotel were stunning and very well maintained We did not like being woken up at 8am to the sound of a continual hammering noise from works that were being carried out right next to our room. We had specifically asked for a late check out of 12.30 so we could sleep in and relax on our holiday. |

Newly refurbished, comfortable beds and quaint setting. Family room had super layout with upstairs loft. Very nice breakfast as well. |

Lovely setting, beautiful grounds and very helpful & friendly staff. The hotel is clearly geared for weddings, but as a 1 night stay with our young daughter it was a lovely place to stay. |

Well signposted, not far away from the M5 ... a good staging-post with lovely gardens. Breakfast was a disappointment with a grudging waitress who did not explain the system or show me the table. There was no brown sauce or other condiments on the table. A smile and a little personal interaction does not cost anything but is worth a lot. |

we stayed for a rest after a breavement and also to celebrate our 30th wedding the room was beautiful as was the hotel and grounds. The bath towels need to be of a larger size as they were quite small. |
