Lovely garden. Great spa.great food Asked for garden view, didn't get it. Remote control was not there in bathroom. Curtains in room 404 had holes in it. Cobweb near window. To many people buzzy with one table, so you have to wait a long time before breakfast came.

The room was fabulous as was the meal at night. Would have liked a pillow selection. I found the pillows a little hard as I use goose down ones at home

- The staff were very helpful and friendly and welcoming - The food was excellent, esp the Buffet breakfast spread - The grounds were lovely, well maintained - The old building (now the dining room) was beautiful. - Upon check in, the room was not yet serviced! - The staff were generally tardy/ sloppy with service, and seem to need more customer focus training, albeit they were very friendly - No newspaper delivered on either morning, although requested - Hair found on the pillow, after the room was serviced - The hotel room was a standard hotel style room- disappointing given the price and that the pictures suggested more of a country retreat style accommodation - Buffett breakfast (which was great) needed a lot of topping up (including food and plates and glasses), and this was only done when you actually asked the staff, which was frustrating. It was a bit like running a training camp!

I have stayed at Rookery Hall a few times now and I am never disappointed. The customer service from the moment you arrive is excellent and continues to be so throughout your stay. The spa is excellent, clean, and very refreshing after a hard term! The dining experience is always second to none due to the lovely food and attention to detail.

Excellent stay and a free upgrade to a suite. Only frustration about this hotel and nothing to do with them is that the vodafone reception is appalling in this area.

The staff were excellent and the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Also in a good loaction, close to Natwich and Chester. The meals served in the dining room were billed as "fine dining", but the quality of the food was only average, especially at the very high prices charged. We also deliberately asked about dress code in the dining room and were told no jeans, T-Shirts or trainers, so we dressed appropriately - only to find other diners dressed in jeans, T-Shirts and trainers. I have no problem with not having a dress code but, if there is one, the staff should insist it's adhered to.

My husband and I enjoyed our brief stay at Rookery Hall immensly. The staff on arrival were very friendly and efficient and made us feel most welcome. We were upgraded on our arrival and the room we stayed in was clean, good temperature, and the bathroom facilities excellent. We had breakfast in bed the next day and again it was all very efficient, arrived on time and was very enjoyable and good value as it was included in the price. I would definitely recommend to others, although a car is needed to travel into Nantwich.

The staff were fantastic, very professional and friendly. The only complaint I have is that the corridors smelt very musty and damp which was a bot off putting. I also think the rooms need a bit of updating dcor wise.

We liked the spa it was fantastic. The staff at the spa werent too helpfull but luckily i have been before so i knew my way around but there was no one showing us where to go or even hand out slippers and a dressing gown which you would expect from a spa. However the hotel staff at the reception couldnt do enough for us they where really nice and booked reservations for us to have our evening meal in Nantwich. Overall the stay was really good. The woman at the spa was a bit of a let down but we had a fantastic time. The woman at the spa reception wasnt very helpfull at all. She didnt show us around the spa. Luckily I have been before so i knew my way around but she didnt offer us slippers or even a dressing gown. I think she must have been new as she didnt seem to have a clue. She also told us to come back at 2pm for treatments when we went back she forgot us and she actually said she had forgotten us! She just was very unproffesional. The spa itself made up for it though. We just loved the spa and the treatments.

We absolutely loved our room (called June), the staff (especially the great welcome from Brian), the swimming pool. The location is not great for us - we live in Cambridge, and on this occasion just happened to be passing by.

The room was very nice, and the location was perfect for a quite get away. The room did however become extremely hot during the night, therefore the air conditioning was required - which was unfortunately very noisy! The bar and food prices were high, and the staff, although all very polite, did forget you on numerous occassions during meal times. Finally, both our parties had to question the final bill, which did show discrepancies where we were overcharged.
