We loved this holiday park as it was on the bus route were u could go all over the island. We choose a cottage for our stay which was well equipped spacious and clean (home from home). The park was great for young children with a pool amusements and play park, for the adults there is fishing and also evening entertainment.

We were a family aged 1-80 and all enjoyed it. We had 3 adjacent chalets, furnished with good quality equipment including washer dryer and dishwasher. Buses run regularly outside the site or nearby footpaths for the more able with cycle hire available on site. Fishing lakes were popular with other guests

The bar/eaterie on site was slow and apart from the on site fish and chip shop there was nowhere to eat within walking distance.

Peaceful, not too many holiday makers in the park, close enough to almost everything on the island, fishing great.

Beds too small, 10 year old fell out if bed during the night.

We liked the fact we felt safe to let our children wonder about a bit and the entertainment was humorous and good for children! The lake is amazing!

Caravans are a bit close together.

It was very quite, so relaxed park.the caravan was very clean and modern and most of the things you need in the kitchen are in it. people who visited in the park were all families with children and its good to have my son to play around with other children in the park.we had such a lovely time. hope to visit another time.

Caravan & facilities were always clean. The bar does good food at reasonable prices and there is an on site fish & chip shop. We were extremely impressed with the size of the caravan, we stayed in the Medina 3 and it was huge. Although there were only 2 adults and a baby in our party we did end up sleeping on the sofabed as none of the 3 bedrooms had room for the travel cot, but this wasn't a problem for us. There is a local shop across the road which stocks most of the things you are likely to need & as its right in the middle of the island its only a 15 minute drive to get anywhere! Great value for money. Would definitely return.

    Nothing, its great for everyone!

A quiet and beautiful place. You can prepare your own food in the caravan, quite convenient. The night life is rich.

    Not easy to get.

The facilities are surface clean and nice and it was good value for the size of caravan. The location is ideal being right in the centre of the island. Would happily stay there again.

The caravan itself was tired in places and had broken doors in the kitchen and mismatched cutlery and glasses. The sofa was broken in one place and you fell through if you sat on it. A small thing I know but it creates and impression. Also beware that are no sponges, washing up liquid etc and no towels supplied. We only stayed for one night and resorted to using shower gel instead of washing up liquid. Some of the light bulbs were not working either. Had we been staying longer I would have made a fuss. Having said all that I would stay there again.

Self catering cottage / bungalow for 4 adults was much cheaper than two hotel rooms for two nights. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked good especially for families.

We though linen was include so didn't bring our own towels. Reception offered us "two packs of towels each containing two bath towels" for £8 ... I was lead to believe this was a deposit, but it wasn't, it was a hire charge. And each pack contained a bath towel and a hand towel so not really enough for 4 adults. So it would have cost £16 to get what I really needed. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I don't like feeling a tad ripped-off; I'd have been happy to bring my own towels if I'd have known. (Let people know at time of booking because costs can easily creep up which is especially unfair on families on a tight budget.)

the place was nice with the lakes and the club house

that the fishing was not included in the holiday price and how much it cost to fish even for half a day

Nice with the fishing pond. The man who let fishing rods was very kind and helpful when our kids wanted to try fishing.

We had booked one of the cottages. We arrived at 2 pm and the girl in the reception said the cottage wasn't ready. She asked for my phone number and said she would call when it was ready. We waited for almost 2 hours, then I went to talk to her, and the she said she had tried to call, but that my number did not work. Just rubbish, I don't think she had called, and by the way, we were sitting in the sofas by the reception, so she could just have come over and talked to me! In general, bad service in the reception. Short opening hours, and when the reception is closed you have to talk to the people in the bar. When we finally got to the contact, the carpet was full of stains, the out door space had not been cleaned. It was full of dry leaves and cigarrett ends. We also found a kind of bug in the bed which made us think it was wall lice, and then we found a snail in the window sill. That made us not want to stay there any more. The reception is closed in the evening, but we spoke to the people in the bar, who called a manager. Luckily there was a caravan available so we could change. Also poor facilities by the pool, no real changing room, only open showers. Bad wi-fi in the cottages, and no wi-fi in the caravans.

The location was central so only a short distance to travel anywhere. The cottage was lovely, clean, very comfortable and set in beautiful grounds. The facilities on site were very good, especially the swimming pools, chip shop and restaurant.

    Nothing!
