It was conveniently located for the station and centre of the city. The staff were also extremely polite and helpful. The bathroom door did not shut and the toilet cistern would not cut off when the cistern was full. We had to leave the cistern to fill up and then lift the ballcock by hand to stop the cistern from filling any further |

Location - quiet area, near the Metro Radio Arena. Easy to remember bus for the area: Number 1 - goes straight into downtown, but walk into downtown takes less than 15 minutes. The bathroom felt cold - but otherwise, saying it is fair for the price is not a put-down - this hotel is ideal for having a place to stay, period. This is not a place to look for massages; there is no breakfast, but I often skip them. |

the matress of the bed was old and not very comfortable, when you go to a hotel the most important thing is to get a good night's sleep on a decent bed and this was not a decent bed |

Unfortunately from the arrival to departure I found nothing I liked. There was an immense amount of serious health, safety and environmental issues that need addressing urgently. |

Heating / Radiators did not work so we had a plug in heater instead of which wasn't even in the room until we complained and had to get the man behind the reception to go and find it. Booked for 3 adults in single beds which were clearly shown in pictures and when we arrived we booked then got into the room to find that we had a family room made up of a double and single bed instead which led to myself and a friend sharing the double! Were told we wouldn't be allowed to get another single bed put in and instead would have to pay for another room! |

Excellent value comfortable room near the city centre, free parking, easy to find. The room smelled of stale smoke in spite of all rooms being non-smoking. |

this hotel is as no thrills as it comes, a long way even from travel lodge standard , that said if your staying in newcastle pay the extra fiver and stay at the travel lodge ,youll save that in not getting a taxi from town |

Very reasonable The Taxi driver had never heard of it and had to seek help finding it. I suggest customers have the post code ready for the Sat Nav. This is of course not the fault of the Hotel. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, it wasn't the most luxurious hotel, but it was cheap and clean and suited the purpose of a place to lay your head. I had a very enjoyable stay. |

The hotel staff were very pleasant, when we asked for more coffee and milk were immediately given some. Although basic and the hotel was going through some 'extension' it was clean and suited our need of a base and a place to put our heads down. |
