Location cleanliness of room Friendly staff Value for money Good food in restaurant
Continental breakfast I am glutton intolerant so no good for me could have had cheese or cd meats
Rooms where spacious the bed was comfortable and staff where friendly
Not a lot
You cant sleep till 3am at the weekend as the noise from the club is unbelievable. Breakfast is VERY slow and very average. Stay elsewhere!
Convenient location, adjacent to bus station and the centre of Dunfermline.
The room and staff
Being kept awake until 3am on Friday and Saturday as there was a club next door
Rood was clean and spacious
Bed was very uncomfy, two single beds pushed together so the bed kept splitting in the middle that we had to keep getting up and pushing them together. Tv was tiny, could not see it when we were lying in bed. Breakfast was horrible, dirty mugs, didnt know what ones were clean and what ones people before us had just left. Didn't get the hot food menu until we had been sitting for about 10 minutes
Restaurant was lovely
Would prefer a shower screen rather than a curtain. View wasn't great but for one night not complaining and not much you can do about it
Centrally located in the city, a short walk to the shpops/attractions.
The breakfast was a very average scottish breakfast with a very limited selection of fruit/cerial etc. Worst of all the coffee was instant. To cap it all we were in a hurry and it took 20 mins to get our hot food infront of us. The room was a bit grubby, with the bathroom in need of a good clean. All night there was a background noise of an aircon motor (or other machinery) outside the room.
everything lovely big room
breakfast was served cold and slightly overcooked eggs. But plenty of choice and good value.
Tea Coffee & Biscuits in room. TV
Shower over bath
Everything! Bed, Food, Rooms,Location - couldn't be better for the price!
Very nice staff. Lovely clean , friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
Parking limited to three private spaces. But im nitpicking plently of public spaces.
Very helpful staff Excellent Breakfast Nice restaurant Good choice of food Clean rooms Ideal location to town
Bed very squeaky and springs on mattresses are not great Due to outside loud extractor fan, we were allocated another room Next door to a club which could be loud if stopping at the weekends
I am a solo traveller and this hotel is first class. No single supplement, which for me is a big plus. I was travelling very early but still had a light breakfast. I have used the hotel before and would stay again.
Cleanliness, friendliness, helpful staff.
The staff at the hotel were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast on the Sunday was great, just what you needed to soak up the nigh befores alcohol. Excellent location also right in the centre of the town. Room was good with twin beds and a large bathroom with bath and shower over.
The only downside was the paper thin walls, you could hear everything that was happening in the next room. We had a quiet room but a friend had a room next to the nightclub which was noisy in the early hours, but the hotel do state this when booking.
No hot water
Hammering basses from 1 am to 3am in the night, louder than the all night ventilation. No chance to escape...
We stay here when in dumferline, we always enjoy our stay, and is good value. All staff very friendly and can have a chat and a laugh, which is rare these days. The food is good. Mr + mrs Harkness .
Spacious room well furnished
Noise from the road when the nightclub emptied at 3am
Room was very modern and clean
The noisy aircon on roof outside our window
The king size room was very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed my meal at the Italian restaurant inside the hotel and good value.
The view from the window was a brick wall. The continental breakfast would have been better with fresh coffee instead of instant but would have preferred a cooked breakfast.
Big room. Good breakfast.
Sound from nightclub till 3am. Although this was mentioned when booking so you can't really complain.
