Roomzzz Leeds City West  

It was convenient to the city centre - only a 15 min walk. The room was comfortable and I really liked the idea of the kitchenette, being able to make as much tea and coffee as you like and also the free drinks in the lobby - a real bonus.

Spacious. Equiped like a studio flat rather than a hotel

Lovely neat room with everything we needed for the evening. Useful to have car park right opposite. Good deal at £49 which was what we paid for the night.

For some reason a hairdryer was not available in the room, though, only on request from Reception - I am glad I realised this *before my shower as I would not have fancied going downstairs with wet hair! Mattress vwas ery soft which was not to our personal taste. Not very near centre of town (but this was no surprise).

Our stay was brilliant from start to finish! The hotel was easy to find and easy to spot from some distance along the road. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful at all times. The room (apartment) was fabulous! Very clean, very light and airy and very comfortable. The kitchen area was wonderful - it had a fridge freezer, microwave oven, hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher and sink - along with tea tea towels, dishwasher tabs, tea and coffee bits, chopping board, knife block, cutlery, crockery, utensils, pans and more! Plenty of empty cupboards to store food in too. The bathroom was also brilliant, good use of a relatively small space. The lounge and bedroom areas were very comfortable with plenty of storage areas around. The breakfast was lovely - croissants, choc au pains and fruits, along with handy paper bags so you can head straight out with them or go back to bed and enjoy them there! Free hot drinks machine available 24/7 (I recommend the hot choc!) and small pure orange juice cartons were out at breakfast time to take away. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, I have so many more good points but not enough word space here!

Definately a home away from home. Taxi fare from train station didn't amount to any more than £5 so very close (always looks further on the map).

Wasn't so keen on the memory foam mattress but that is more individual taste and comfort. There also isn't much close by the aparthotel (i.e. restaurants. shops etc..)

Price....got a lot for the price

Currently thinking of reporting Roomzzz to trading standards for mis representation. We booked and confirmed everything then when we arrived the rooms were more like bedsits, the clerk on the desk was very unhelpful with our problems (was more interested in staring at my partner's cleavage and chatting up some young lady in a red coat). When we queried about why we'd been informed about computers in every room we were fobbed off with some lame excuse about it was only other venues that had that facility. I pointed out the fact all stationary and displays for Leeds City West also indicated the same (admire the mac) and mentioned that it was mis representation. The Desk clerk just stated report it in the morning then. Not impressed in the least

Good value for money. You pay what you get. The rate is in moderate range. So you cannot expect 5-star service. Good location near City Centre.

The staff has very minimum politeness. I only felt the hospitality from one receptionist. The rest are so and so.The housekeeping was not organised. Everyday they cleaned up the room at a different time and in a different way i.e. someday they hoovered, someday they don't, someday they cleaned the stove, someday they don't. You need to remind them.

The apartment was amazing. It was clean and modern and comfortable and a good price. The kitchen was great! There was an alarm clock which doubled up as a docking station in our room aswell. Plus ironing board/iron and wine glasses plates and cutlery etc. Shower was great too.

The staff spoke very poor English and I had to pay on card because if I paid by cash they wanted to freeze £60 (£30 per room) out my bank account as a deposit. Which they don't do if you pay by card. That £60 then would not be cleared back in my account for up to 5 days afterwards! I wasnt comfortable with this and struggled with the receptionists English so despite having withdrawn the cash to pay I had to pay on card instead. If I didn't have any cash in my account to pay with card or cover the £60 they wanted to freeze as a deposit instead, then it could of caused some embarrassment and issues. Only let down really.. Other than the view but we weren't there for that.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean room with a very good price/performance relationship. The location is central, and although parking is only public, the fees are very reasonable for this location (and, with some luck, even free parking is possible). The breakfast is "grab and go", hence rather simple, but it fulfills our needs. Still you can cook your own breakfast, as the kitchenette is fully equipped.

I thought it was extremely convenient and fantastic value for money, staff were excelent and an all round pleasant experience

Friendly/welcoming staff Snacks/drinks available to purchase (no shops nearby) grab & go breakfast kitchen facilities in room bar next door was handy! Showergel & handwash provided

Grab & go breakfast unfortunately didn't cater for my wheat intollerance, apart from fruit...but not a major criticism! No coat hook in room ironing board took up whole wardrobe space. Dvd player in tv would have been nice...not many channels available.

Quiet at the back. Changed room on second night.
