Rosa is a charming host, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent with nice chats with rosa!
Rosa is an excellent cook! The breakfast was a pleasant experience and she even provided a variety of things for me so that I didn't get bored in my 3 weeks stay. I stayed in the garden room which was small but clean and cozy. The location was good for my purposes.
The location is about half an hour walk from the city centre, which is not superconvenient. However, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet: no traffic nor loud noises to keep you awake at night.
Room and bathroom were as pictured and nice with everything you would expect for a comfortable stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and well presented. I would stay again if i go back to Cambridge
There was nothing negative about the facilities or my stay
Rosa is lovely and very friendly and a fantastic cook. What makes this place special is the way Rosa brings you bits of food that she has made in the evening and an amazing breakfast, also plus good conversation.
Everything. Rosa was very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. We had two single rooms with a shared bathroom. All excellent and clean. The breakfast was superb. We would totally recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone.
There wasn't anything.
very quiet residential road, room compact but very comfortable especially the bed. The breakfast was excellent with eggs from Rosa's hens in the garden and a beautifully presented platter of fruit. I would definitely stay here again.
It is 10 minute cycle from the centre which was fine for me and quiet roads, but would be a long walk. wifi signal weak but it worked.
Friendly and cosy environment in a quite area. Excellent breakfast.
No on site parking Relatively small room
Rosa's is situated on a quiet street with plenty of on road parking or parking off road if requested. The B&B is spotlessly clean and Rosa herself cooked a super breakfast for me. A great and friendly place to stay.
Rosa is lovely, very friendly and helpful - sorted out a taxi for me one night, cooked my (delicious) breakfast specifically to what I felt like each morning, and the room was very comfortable. Nice quiet location, but so easy to get around from. Perfect for what I needed for the week.
Very friendly owner Excellent breakfast
Almost everything...but a long walk to town
Very well-run and friendly b&b in a family house on a quiet street in a residential area. Excellent breakfast.
the delicious breakfast the flexibility of Rosa with regard to the breakfast (lunch-package instead of breakfast was available) the hennes&ducks in the garden the friendly and personal atmosphere the quietness the extras like a bath robe or sweets
+ quiet location, away from main roads with easy access to city + clean and comfortable room with separate entrance (garden room) + parking + frequent public transport service with bus stop only minutes from Rosa's + breakfast to die for (your 7 a day included) + Rosa's hospitality where nothing is too much trouble + liked it so much at Rosa's that I stayed an extra night and would definitely stay there again
- nothing; if there was anything you just had to mention it to Rosa who would see to it immediately.
I liked the fact that there was off road parking. I was warmly welcomed with a smile. The room had everything I needed for a two night stopover, together with a private bathroom, and a private entrance door to the house. The breakfasts were the best I have ever had and nothing was too much trouble for Rosa. I will definitely hope to be able to book in at Rosa's on any future visits to Cambridge. A most friendly and comfortable B&B.
The fact that I hadn't had the pleasure of staying there on previous visits to Cambridge.
Room was very clean, a vegan breakfast was prepared on short notice, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The room (located in the garden) had an independent entrance, so I didn't disturb anyone when I came back really late after having dinner and drinks with a friend.
Instructions to connect to the internet weren't clear, I needed help in the morning. Pretty minor issue...
Wonderful home-made breakfast and clean rooms. Very friendly host! Really love the staying in Rosa B&B.
Rosa lives on Roseford Road with Roses round the red door, how cute is that! No prickley thorns on Rosa though she was very nice & friendly and made me feel very welcome, I was traveling alone so it was important to me. I was also able to leave my car on her drive for a couple of day which was safer than on road. Her breakfasts are fantastic and the room was clean bright and just right for a couple of nights. The shower room was large and had good pressure (I hate showers that just dribble). A wonderful stay all round. Jennifer
The fact I couldn't stay longer.
Rosa! So friendly and welcoming and willing to help. The room and bathroom were private, clean, warm and well provided with everything needed. The breakast was copious and tasty.
It was further from the centre than I had thought and not so convenient for where I needed to be.
It was a perfect location for my needs. The lady who ran the B&B was very nice, breakfast was rather impressive and delicious. When I told her about the issues that I had with the room she took £5 off the price of the stay.
I travel extensively and I specifically look for private parking and an ensuite room. I think it was rather unfortunate that I didn't enjoy my stay quite as much as I might have hoped. The parking was subject to prior booking so I phoned a few days before arrival. Unfortunately I couldn't park at the property as the lady's husband had his work van at home that night. The lady did offer to move her own car but I didn't want to put her to any trouble. I think it should state something like 'Occasional Private Parking'. My room was a single (as booked) with a bathroom next door. It was a shared bathroom with the quiet little man down the corridor. I was offered an ensuite (as I had booked one) upstairs but apparently there was a lot of noise up there with some diy works that were being carried out so I opted to stay downstairs. My room was very hot at night and there was nothing that I could see to turn the heating down. In the morning I noticed that there were no towels so I had to improvise when I went for my shower. Also my dressing robe was not freshly laundered and had an egg stain down the front. I think it was just a disastrous culmination of small things that irritated me. It certainly wasn't cheap at £65 (£60 after discount) for the night and although clean I wouldn't have rated it 4 ****.
Exeptional breakfast and good bus connection to the city center.
