The room was exceptionally clean and also quiet as it was detached from the main house - very cute! The breakfast was prepared with much care and included a variety of fresh fruit.

Rosa did all she could to make my stay comfortable, despite a sudden snowfall and 'cold snap'. Although I had booked garden chalet, she moved me to main house. The breakfast was delicious, augmented by hot fruit from hubbie's fruit business. On my first morning, proffering £60 for first night (cash only having been stipulated), I was thinking of an adverse report as £80 per night was demanded. However, to her credit, Rosa corrected this to the £60 I agreed with Booking com. She told me that the confusion arose because she is going to raise the nightly rate to £80. Frankly, I doubt if people will pay this much for non-ensuite accommodation as Rosa's is so far out of town. I spent nearly £50 on taxis over two days; there is a bus service to town at the top of Roseford Road but that is £2 to town and I would still have needed taxis town and from the rail station and from town both nights after going to picture house (11.00 finish) and adc.

Perfect overnight stop for a solo traveller. I stayed in the garden cottage and found it to be warm, neat and well equipped. Excellent breakfast and on my visit top class Christmas pies as a welcome treat. Everything was fine

The option of the garden room was brilliant because you could come and go as you wanted without entering the main house so not disturbing anyone. The breakfasts were huge and freshly cooked for you,and Rosa is such a lovely host. Nothing to dislike

Rosa was very friendly, and made me very welcome. It is great to find a b and b with single rooms. Breakfast was good, especially the stewed fruit and yoghurt to start with. Easy walk into town, but bus stops near if you need them. Everything spotless and eating breakfast in the family kitchen, looking out over the garden, was like home from home. Great. Would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Rosas, a warm welcome and I stayed in the garden room which was like staying in my own private holiday chalet! The breakfast was BIG and delicious, it set me up for the day. The location was quiet and leafy. I would absolutly stay here again, it was amazing value for money. The onlydownside was my laptop could not pick up the wifi from the main house but obviously, if the wifi was important during your stay, just request a room inside the house

Rosa was so friendly and helpful. Having pre-arranged with Rosa by email, I arrived and checked in early just before I needed to get to Jesus College for an Open Day. Rosa quickly directed me to the nearest and best bus stop. The garden cottage was lovely - so quiet and clean and plenty of lighting! It was comfortable and had everything I could need. Breakfast was superb - I would come here again just for the fresh fruit platter (a meal in itself). Location is great - quiet residential with easy free parking, yet only a 10-minute bus ride into the city. I look forward to staying again.

The b&b is delightful in every way, especially the wonderful breakfasts prepared by Rosa. It certainly deserves its high ratings. I stayed in the Garden Room for a week, it is actually a small building separate from the main house, and very quiet - the room and bathroom are very well- designed so that everything one needs is available without any wasted space. It is quick and easy to get into Cambridge on the bus, which is a short walk away. I loved my stay with Rosa and would recommend this b&b to anyone.

I was sick when I stayed at this b and b and I was most grateful for the support I had. It was a warm room with reasonable facilities. The full breakfast was very good. The single room was a little on the small side. The location meant using taxis or buses if the weather had been better.

This was a pleasant and clean abode for GBP 55/night. The owner is lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was very healthy (a fresh fruit plate every day and an overflowing pot of coffee). The city center is about a 10 minute walk and a 10 minute bus ride. Easy to get to and very inexpensive (GBP 3.7 for a bus day pass). Take the #1 bus out of the city toward North Aubrey and get off at Carlton Way. This was a lovely and serendipitous weekend to be in Cabridge. The lilacs and wisteria were in full bloom and the sun shone for two straight days.
