Nothing to dislike
Loved the country feel about the pub
Very friendly and helpful staff, the bed was brilliant (comfortable ) !! Excellent location, out of the town but not too far to walk there and back. The breakfast was superb and everywhere was clean and tidy. Highly recommend. ...

Bedding was good quality and the bed was comfortable. Had a good night's sleep.
No fridge in room. Traffic noise early in the morning.
Comfortable room with plenty of space. Good cooked breakfast with alternatives if required. Friendly staff.
Rooms at the front of the hotel suffer from traffic noise.
Good food. Room decor.
Room was by stairs so noisy at times
Very cosy, friendly bar. Restaurant was excellant
Staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back there!
Very nice pub in a quiet village just outside Porthcawl. Nicely decorated bedrooms and a good restaurant. Value for money.
Food, staff, location
Staff were friendly & everything looked very luxurious even though at such a cheap rate you don't expect it!
Nice olde worlde inn.The evening meal was very good. Our room was comfortable and clean.
The banging of the doors in the top corridor. We didn't like the tea in a flask at breakfast. It would have been much nicer to have fresh tea in teapot at table. Parking wasn't easy!
Comfortable room Excellent breakfast Convenient situation
Car parking rather difficult
Fantastic location on a lovely village green and only a 10 minute walk from Porthcawl sea front and centre. Lovely and well maintained old building with garden and outside seating that gets the afternoon sun. Good dinner menu and great breakfast.
The food was good
Dirty generally, horrible smell. Bathroom dirty no proper toilet roll, an industrial one with no holder. Carpet stained. Curtains grubby. I would not recommend this property
Good food great staff & value for money
Room was very clean and airy, very good value for money
Breakfast tea was in a flask to help yourself, prefer my tea freshly brewed in a teapot.

Lovely helpful staff, great English breakfast
Rooms well kept and clean Food was a good standard Staff very helpful Despite having a problem with a noisy pipe on our first couple of nights, staff were eager to help and quickly sorted it was no longer a problem.
Tv signal was weak Parking was a nightmare, but luckily managed to get a spot most days. Restaurant's chips were too salty, without yourself adding any
