The staff and everything else :)
Loud music playing every morning below our room and our shower was leaking so we couldn't use it
Sauna and spa after a long drive was a luxury. Staff very helpful after reading previous reviews was worried about staying here but found no faults
Only negative was view and birds mess on windows but close curtains and not an issue
Pool spa area
The beds were really uncomfy
Spa and pool,very relaxing
Advertised bar snacks but when I enquired I got offered a bag of sweets off the young barman
The only one good thing was the location
The pool was dirty, it's advertised as spa with beauty treatments yet they have no thearpist on premises. The room was dated old and dirty. The ceiling leaked with heavy rain. The window was smashed. Everything had dust on it. It was a very poor hotel.
The hotel had everything I needed in it for the price I paid the facility's were excellent I loved the relaxing spa facility's the beds were comfy and the hotel was clean I have previously stay twice before
Nice size room Comfortable Bed Nice Sea View
Shower cubicle too small Big step to get in and out the shower
The bar area and lounge area were lovely. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly
The swimming pool was a strange shape with only one set of steps in the deep end.(10 ft) As we had a two year old with armbands, she had to be handed down into the shallow end (4ft). The bedroom was dated and we had the most uncomfortable night ever. We could feel every spring in the bed and had to put other duvets on the bed to lie on. The guttering outside the bedroom window was loose and blowing in the wind all night. We thought the roof was being blown off!!!
I was dreading the breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised. I wonder if I'd of seen how clean the kitchen was wether I'd have enjoyed the breakfast??? We had a full English, we were given 2 rounds of toast, there was a selection of cereals and juices. They didn't have decaf coffee, which I'm quite glad of as the sugar bowl had about a centimetre of sugar in with hard brown tea/coffee drops from previous people!!! And they don't cater for people with coeliacs disease, they gave me a funny look when I told them I'd brought my daughters breakfast!!!
In short.... A dirty hotel very unpleasant!!! Hair stuck to the shower wall and soap dish Unclean bathroom floor with bits/dirt sticking to our feet Clumps of hair on the carpet Rubbish and a thick layer of dust underneath bed I feel the dust made it hard for me to breathe and I couldn't get to sleep until after 3am Heating on, really, it's August!!! We turned the radiator off but it was still too hot and we found it very uncomfortable trying to get to sleep Dirty windows, unsightly view of a dirty alley way, cig ends, broken windows Mouldy ceiling Horrible smell in the bar area
The pool area was great, the welcome was fine and the staff were helpful when we asked for anything. Well priced breakfast and drinks all in all we had an enjoyable break and will return.
The room was a little tired and in need of upgrading, the view from our room was also depressing and not what we had hoped for. Also lack of parking was a problem and we ended up parking and paying over £15 for the night in a private car park
Asked for extra pillow as i have neck problems and was givin a extreammly thin pillow but when i asked for another 1 or where i could buy a thicker 1 was given another pillow and was told pleanty of shops i can get a thicker one
room was discusting soap scum in shower area looks like was never cleaned net cutains covered in dust and grime. broken tiles in shower a danger. bed spring sticking out. housekeeping never emptied bins atall on vist and on last day house keeping were in our room making bed as we were out all day and left our room door open till we were back after 10pm luckly none of our stuff was missing. On checking out no offer to call taxi or asking how our stay was asked for keys and walked away from us. Very unhappy will never be back
The staff at the hotel were lovely and the facilities were great....had fun in the pool and jacuzzi with my daughter...just round the corner are a spar shop and two Chinese takeaways and a few other shops...great location, bus and tram stops just across the road...
Room was not as described • Spotlights above bed didn’t work • Plaster all over the floor, even though I waited for the room cleaning • Remains of hair clumps in the corners of the bathroom • Dead flies in the toilet on arrival • Minibar – with nothing in it, I purchased some drinks to put in & the fridge didn’t even work • Bed on the right hand side was extremely uncomfortable as the springs were right through the bed • Advertised children’s splash pool along with a swimming pool, although these seemed to be the same
Friendly helpful staff
leaving so soon
Leisure facilities excellent. Staff helpful & breakfast was good value. Owners have only recently taken over, sure with their attitude then improvements will be pushed through and the rating would be excellant
Still under refurbishment. Standard of decor poor, radiators not working but, heater supplied without question. Price I thought was expensive for room.
There was honestly not one thing i found nice about the hitel. The customer service from tge staff was poor and the hotel was poor.
I didnt like a number of things including holes in the bathroom ceiling (big holes) cracked in hslf toilet seat. Window thick with bird poo. Banging sound constantly from in ceiling.
The staff was excellent and the treatment was really good. Value for money.
The views where not nice .
Beds so comfy, room was very good, and staff were very helpful had a very lovely time allnin all the steam room after a wild friday night was brilliant therapy.
The pool was dirty and had debry at the bottom, still went for a dunk but was very off putting that it wasnt cared for at all.
Rooms dated and dirty to the point they were unhygienic. Facilities for the Spa were the same. Everywhere was grubby and the Spa did not even have a member of staff supervising. So over priced !
Me & my girlfriend was really enjoyed the time that we spend in this hotel&spa. The spa was amaizing and people from reception was really kind for us.Definitely we will come back there. :)
The staff are very friendly and helpful breakfast was okay for the price be low quality produce in offer though again the staff were very attentive
Decor very dated and poor quality swimming pool and spa not very clean and to be avoided felt a bit like a DSS B&B!
value for money we paid and the kids enjoy pool
The jacuzzi and pool
I booked a family room through bookings.com for £66 which included breakfast 30% discount for 2 adults & 2 children. Upon arrival I was told there was no family room available but as there was only me and my two children I was to leave my bags and be back for 3pm to check in. I left my luggage in the storage area and took my kids out for the day. While we were away a voicemail was left on my phone to say as my credit card had failed due to insufficient funds, my booking was cancelled and there was no rooms available. Then half an hour later I got a text to say there had been a mix up and my room was available and to make my way back to the hotel. When I went to check in I was told all that was available was the triple room and it was too much hassle to alert booking.com because they had not been given any availability for a triple room and it would cause the manager so much hassle. I was then told to pay for the triple room in full and my breakfasts were no longer included. I ended up spending more money for a smaller room. No apology or even a free breakfast. Really disappointed in the service, we could have been booked into somewhere else but as it was half way through the day we didn't want to chance looking for anywhere else.
every thing was good the staff was friendly and helpful very welcoming the rooms were spotless the spa and pool were great the children loved it because of the pool and spa there is nothing I can complain about i hope they look after us the next time and they have given us 10% off for the next stay in the hotel
there was nothing to complain about Mohammed from Luton
Spa area!! Looks loads better after refurbishment. Bar looks stunning. Brilliant place to stay.
Smell of paint in room. Please keep window open for few days.
